Cafe Marie Jeanne

I liked it. I had the chicken salad sand-which. But I doubt I'll be visiting again, the place was so...muted. Im sure its really something a lot of people enjoy, but I'll try somewhere else to keep trying new places.

It was nice and delicious but I miss Chef Andres 😔

Great service and delicious food

The food here in innovative and consistently good. They are also accommodating with certain requests. I asked for a lunch item during dinner hours and they were more than happy to make it for me. I do have to take a star off, though, because there were roaches in a trap in the bathroom during one of my most recent visits and it was obviously quite off putting.

This is a great French restaurant to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The dishes are so unique, delicious and they’re not expensive. I would love to suggest some dishes, but honestly every single item in their menu is exceptional. Enjoy this place and bon apetit!!

One of the best restaurants in the city!

Wow. This restaurant has been on my want to go list for a while and it did not disappoint. The dishes are simplistic but do not lack in flavor. We went for brunch and tried the smoked chicken, omelet marie jean, jambon and the poutine. They were ALL delicious, and surprisingly my favorite was the smoked chicken. Its served over two pieces of toast and the most amazing balsamic reduction I have ever tasted. The omelet marie jean is french style so the eggs are soft scrambled which was amazing. The service was great. Our food took a while to come out but in my opinion just adds to the french vibe so I didnt mind. Unfortunately by the time we got there and sat down (around 1:30) they were out of biscuits and croissants so that was a bummer but it's ok because we will definitely be back. All in all, this place is a must!!

It is a bit expensive but food is exceptional! Unfortunately, service is always slow. It is a relaxed environment but every time I go for breakfast the experience is always a minimum of an hour and a half, I'd recommend if you aren't looking for a quick and simple breakfast.

Food was great but the service was super cold. Basically did the bare minimum to get us in and out. Took order, dropped food. No other communication. It’s fine but not awesome when you’re entertaining a guest from out of town. Oh well.

I absolutely loved this place. In addition to a few larger plates, they have an a la carte style breakfast menu so you can build your own breakfast from a selection of high quality, delicious dishes. After my first experience at Café Marie-Jeanne, I can't wait to go back; I wanted to eat everything on the menu but there's only so much you can eat at one time. Our server was especially helpful explaining portion sizes and making recommendations for us. And when the check came, we were honestly a little surprised at how inexpensive it was for such a wonderful meal. This may be my new favorite restaurant in the city.

Great spot to sit back and enjoy excellent food and fun atmosphere. You feel like you’re in a bistro just outside of Paris. Fresh ingredients and strong coffee.Staff was genuine and courteous.

The service was impeccable , the food was delicious , the atmosphere was charming. Do not be intimidated by the menu, the staff is very knowledgeable and polite. The omelette's are lovely ; but don't be afraid to try something more daring. Highly recommended , bon appetit' .

So this is how the 2 scrambled eggs look like. TWO, the server said that they shrink. And yea BTW they gotta learn how to cook hash browns cuz they are over fried and too greasy 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Cool environment and dishes you won't find many other places in the city.
