Cafe La Gaffe

Went for the summerlicious lunch menu. The food tastes superb especially the proteins. We had the salad with beef and a duck for main course. the flavours are rich and creative and the texture is what i liked the best. The ambience here was relaxing too as we sat under a large green shade with cool summer breeze. Would definitely revisit~

Good, comfort food. But they put cheese everywhere so watch out if that's not your thing

I'm so glad I end up here as the other place was closed. The food was delicious and full of flavor. We had 3 different mains and they were all tasty. Was really cold inside and the service could have been faster. Thankfully I was not in a rush. I will go back again.

PEI Mussels was good. But Lamb Shank was overcooked. Dessert was ok.

Small and cozy place, very bohemian style, the staff was good and very attentive. The summerlicious menu had variety, good portions, good taste, nothing special at all, the price is average and they have a good variety of drinks.

Had an amazing lunch here for Winterlicious! Firstly, I must say that the staff and service is outstanding. I had made a reservation online but for some reason, they couldn't find it in their system. Despite the place being completely packed, they accommodated me at a nice table near the sun on a cold winter day. I was truly grateful for this as there were multiple parties after me who got turned away. The food was also excellent, with a very extensive selection for various tastes. Thank you and will keep coming back.

Great food, with lots of variety. The prices were good too.

This is a really cozy place that’s great for date nights.The service is good. The servings are huge and the price is reasonable.The only downside is that the food takes a long time to come out. My friends and I allocated plenty of time for dinner before an appointment, and the food took about 30 minutes to come to the table. Overall, I would recommend this place to people looking for a quiet, cozy place with hearty food.

Was here for Summerlicious! Big portions. Sadly they didn't have escargot that day. But duck was amazing!

I used to come here all the time (every weekend) for brunch, and it was good (steak and eggs, western sandwich were my faves). But the place has probably seen better days. Service has gotten very slow even when it's not full. Food comes out hit and miss (e.g. well done steaks, forgotten sides). And brunch was the highlight for Cafe La Gaffe - I wouldn't really recommend it over anything nearby for dinner. It's a shame because this place was quite a nice cozy little brunch spot.

It's good atmosphere and nice clean selection of brunch items such as salads, steak and eggs omelettes. Pretty good coffee as well and in a pleasant area of town. I'd recommend going here but not an absolute must per se.

A quaint and charming restaurant located downtown but hidden on a side street, allowing for a quiet place to dine. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. The photos display the Omelette du Jour, and the Western Sandwich.
