A great place to visit and definitely one of multiple excellent sights to see on Enoshima Island. It’s pretty big with a couple of cafes and nice seating to relax and take in the views. The flowers are beautiful and there are many different types. I would recommend paying the ¥1000 fee to use the escalators and it will give you access to other venues so it pays for itself.

I bought a ticket during the lighting event of "Shonan's Gem" to visit. The maintenance of the flower landscape can be seen by the staff, the moving lighting is well arranged, and the small details can also see the ingenuity in the design.

An English merchant Samuel Cocking developed a botanical garden here along with a greenhouse in 1880. All this was destroyed by the great Kanto earthquake. While working on the lighthouse restoration, the ruins of his greenhouse were discovered. The place is tidy now, and it's possible to go down into the red bricked ruins of the greenhouse basement.

The symbol of Enoshima, the view of Sagami Bay from the observation deck 100M above sea level is also quite good. There is also a garden where you can enjoy the seasonal flowers, so you can enjoy it if the timing is right.

Its relatively small garden. When we went they had varieties of Tulips. Its the first time i saw a tulip. Garden is well maintained . We got one day pass worth 1000 yen which includes Escar, Samuel Cocking Garden, Sea Candle and Cave. The pass was really worthy.

I went to the Shonan jewel finale. The entrance fee is 200 yen and this quality is wonderful.

I went to see it because illumination and light up are famous.Because it is lit at 17 o'clock, people are gathering in places when walking while looking around, it seems like a point where photos can be shined. If it is sunny, you can see the silhouette of Mt. Fuji in the direction of the setting sun, and Kawazu cherry blossoms are about to bloom soon (1-2 flowers bloomed), so the cherry blossoms and illuminations are good in the future. Now there are many tulips and you can enjoy various colors together. As expected, there were many people on Saturdays, but it was still good to take photos.

Questions & Answers

It is 200 yen if it is only a cocking bowl, but it is 1000 yen if it is eno = pass of 4 facilities set.
