Owner was busy tending to things as we arrived and promptly greeted us at the door. Very friendly and helpful. Seated us right away in the beautiful outdoor area just musicians we're getting ready to play.Food was delicious and presentation was wonderful. Server, owner and even the bartender even stopped by our table to check on us. Bartender explained his own twist on a classic cocktail I was having, then even sent a sample of a liqueur I had asked about to our table. Memorable experience.

Very quaint. Friendly staff. My only complaint is that ordering wasn't exactly intuitive; you almost expect to be seated by someone or to seat yourself and then be served.

Charming restaurant with great food and friendly staff! Save room for dessert. Parking can be a challenge but worth the effort.

Absolutely delicious! It's a small cute cafe, with a beautiful atmosphere to help you sneak away from the heat. The staff are all super friendly and wonderful. I really enjoyed this sweet tooth stop!

I just found out about this place, and it has become a favorite. The food is delightful and the atmosphere 'old Tucson' to the max.

Really great energy and down to earth homely vibe. It really shows in their food and their incredibly welcoming attitude how much they are impassioned by what they're doing. Love it.

Beautiful surroundings and fabulously tasty sandwiches. Mine was a gingered chicken, apricot, almond, salad croissant. Oh, and did I mention the perfectly delicious fries?

My mixed greens salad was attractively plated. It was the "special", new to the menu. I recommend it.

Brunch? Yes. Breakfast, dinner, lunch, and brunch. Great food at any time of day. The menu is varied with local flair. And there's even a bakery case. If you want to have a little wine or cocktail they have it. Coffee very good. Or just iced water.

Such a cute place with good food! Their vegetarian selection isn't that large, but the food is delicious. They have GIANT (no, really - GIANT) pastries. This place fills up really fast, especially at lunch time. They have a slightly upscale, yet casual style in their dining rooms. It looks to be an old house so there are several little cozy rooms to choose from to sit and eat. There's a shaded patio with fairly comfy seating as well. Be sure to grab a table first (it's self seating) before going up to order. Menus are located at the counter, where you also order.

My brother was visiting from Seattle so we spent some time enjoying Old Town Artisans but then he was craving coffee. Where can you take an employee of the large unnamed coffee behemoth downtown? Cafe a La Cart worked perfectly. He liked the coffee and we all enjoyed the variety of desserts. The tart was awesome!

Café à La C'Art is a hidden gem in downtown Tucson next to the Tucson Museum of Art. Very nice comfortable atmosphere. Has a very French European flavor to it and the courtyard is wonderful to enjoy a meal in the fall and spring. They also carry a variety of homebaked desserts which are the BOMB! Have to try them! Today I had the Cafe a la cart Burger (Medium) with fries. It was tasty!! I've also tried the Cuban and Club sandwiches here as well and I would recommend both. Price for 2 with drinks and a slice of Buttermilk Berry Cake was $37 plus tip. Recommend :)
