Cabezon Restaurant

There was nothing wrong with this restaurant other than it's not my style. The service was great, I ordered the Cioppino and I'm sure it was good but honestly I didn't recognize anything on the menu. I googled seafood near the airport and was hoping for a pile of crab legs or a big lobster tail with baked potato. What I got was a very well prepared and presented meal, but pretty light on the actual seafood, and in a soup base that was just ok. If you think Red Lobster isn't really seafood then you'll probably love this place. Just not my style.

Had the lamb, pork chops, & cod was so good. Also had the kabocha soup, need to try this! Then dessert omg, was so good!Next relaxing atmosphere, service was great, really enjoyed my dining experience!

Great neighborhood location. Food was super tasty. Amazing appetizers at reasonable prices. Try the blinis with caviar - Delicious little heavenly bites! Dinners were about $30. each & well worth it. Foody approved - interesting & tasty choices! Service was great. We made a reservation. Loved the warm vibe - great date night spot.

Nice ambience, rockfish entree was delish! Service was a tad slow, but the place was busy.

A very relaxed & congenial atmosphere with a varied selection of items for the palate

Friendly, prompt service, and very tasty food. The portions were reasonable, with a good presentation. My only criticism would be the cocktails were a little on the light side.

Cabezon is hidden gem in Portland! All the locals know this is where you get delicious seafood and other seasonal dishes. The atmosphere is really warm and intimate and the service is, unlike many other high-end places, friendly! I took my parents here when they were visiting months and ago and they still talk about it.

One problem with this restaurant... my new favorite restaurant is in Portland and I live in Salt Lake City. The service here was second to none the staff was all attentive and friendly from when we walked in the door to when we were done and heading out. Even though they were pretty busy we never waited for anything. The food was outstanding We had Sturgeon and Ciopino that were both prepared perfectly and the best I have had. They have a great selection of wines and many local beers available as well. We will be back for sure as soon as we can. If you are in the Portland area this is a great place to go.

Absolutely loved the food here! Subtle sauces, creative flavors with super friendly and attentive staff. Neighborhood feel with upscale cuisine. Wish they'd open a restaurant near where we live!

I love a good deal and a good deal on amazing food just cannot be passed up! Go here!!We went for Portland Dining month. The Salt cod brandade was the reason this restaurant was chosen, sounded delish! It was!! Second course, cioppino... mana from heaven!! Every thing was so fresh and cooked perfectly! Juicy white shrimp, luscious Dungeness crab, plump clams and muscles, tender calamari and finally flaky rockfish with a garlic cream sauce. Best meal I’ve had in at least two years!! Finally the warm ginger cake was divine. Bits of crunch from the top, excellent moist crumb and a divine lemon mousse. Pretty decent cocktail and attentive/friendly service. Thank you!!!

Fabulous! I had the Cod with the scallop set, (pictured). Superb meal, great staff (Thanks, Jackie!). Highly recommend Cabezon!
