Cabana/Tres Amigos

We've lived in Grand Rapids for 4 years and went to quite a few local Mexican restaurants. This has always been our favorite! My husband is a tamale lover, and their tamales are some of the best he's had outside of Mexico.

Excellent food drinks and friendly service every time!!

I came here after a recommendation from a friend. The food was great, but overall presentation made every option less appealing. Something you don't often think about but I couldn't help was that the menu was cumbersome and options didn't have any stand out variety. This is definitely a place for a quick mexican american style meal, but general atmosphere makes it a poor choice for anything grander.

This restaurant has to be family run or owner operator involved. This is the beauty of small business, the owner, employees, cooks and yes even the servers here are all doing a excellent job. We’ve been to this restaurant at least 100x and I can’t recall a bad experience. What’s also very impressive is how clean this place is on Sunday because most restaurants are super busy every Saturday. We love this restaurant because they are consistent, the food is served fast-fresh. I think most of the servers memorize your order when taking it, I never see them writing it down. What a great business, they value there customers and it shows. You guys are awesome, thank you Mansfield-Sprague Family

Friggin love legit Mexican enchilads

They were very friendly. We celebrated my mom's birthday. They allowed us to bring in cake and have my dad sing to her. She loved it. I had grilled chicken with shrimp. It came with rice but no beans. Also not all plates come with tortilla so be prepared to ask if your a big tortilla eater like me. Overall it was great.

Excellent restaurant in a perfect location. Located on 60th street adjacent to Kalamazoo Ave SE Serve authentic Mexican style food that is seasoned very well and economically priced. The drinks such as Margaritas are a must try! The chicken burritos are superb! Will visit once again!

Always good and authentic. Homeade salasa is amazing. And they have 4 kinds from medium to screaming hot Carolina reaper salsa. If u wanna test ur taste buds come here. The xango dessert is a must habe and the churros are killer. I come 2 x a week. All they need is a Saturday n Sunday brunch and im there 2 more days.

My visit to Cabana Tres Amigos was 5/5 stars. The food was very delicious. Everything from the setting and theme of the restaurant to of course the food felt very authentic. The service was also very excellent and fast. I would definitely return soon.

This is a wonderful experience! I would totally recommend this restaurant! The Food is delicious for a great price and high quantity. The service is fast and the people are nice. if you want some great Mexican food I would go here.

Great veggie options including impossible tacos, great salsa and quick food delivery. My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area!

Good food. Liked the place. Portions are large. My wife and I split a dinner and we're satisfied.

Very nice place. Service was good and prompt. Burrito was authentic with good flavor and the salsa was fantastic with the warm chips.

I had been going here almost weekly but while the food is still good the service has gotten terrible. I’m on hiatus from here for a while. May go back in a month or two and see if the service has improved.
