C J's Lakeside Grill

I used to be here every weekend for about 10 years and can say we were always the youngest crown here. Dumped thousands into all of our 21st birthdays all the way to my 30th. Always had great service and good food. Last time i ate there it was eh.. We were there a couple weeks ago, sat for over 10 minutes without being greeted or anything(It wasn't that busy). Finally ordered our food, over an hour later the power went out(Uncontrollable i know) but the waitress and bartender didn't even walk around and ask if we wanted drinks or anything, they went outside and smoked, multiple times. We finally went out and asked if we could pay and leave, over 45 minutes later she collected our money. I sat there from 615 to after 9 with cheese sticks and 1 beer, and a full check. Also, 3% added on for a credit card now.

The BEST mom and pop restaurant anywhere. Their german potatoes are wonderful and so is their popeye omelet. Waiting staff is very friendly.

Really good food, great atmosphere, good service, extremely overpriced for what you actually get.... I'm not saying I would never go there again but with that being said I know what to order ...if you want to brag to your friends about going somewhere or have people look at you and think you have money... this is the place for you ....that's not me
