Worst gyro I ever had. Super greasy and sweaty, and they don't even use the right type of bread. The grape leaves we're greasy and gross too. I don't know how people gave this place good reviews

Local shop with food made while you wait. Mom and pop atmosphere.... very casual. Three different meals ordered between 3 folks...all pleased. Why a 4 star? The chicken with the 1/2 chicken dish was over baked and then appeared to be reheated. The reheat makes sense as they are not going to bake while you wait. The grill fried chicken was tender, fresh and perfect.

Amazing Mediterranean food and great service. In particular, the spinach pie and chicken souvlaki were terrific. When our family makes it to DC again, we will be returning to Byblos Deli.

Marc is amazing I've been eating at Byblos for over 10 yrs. Same owner same consistency. When the cops eat there and they know the owner by name you KNOW IT'S GOTTA BE GOOD!!!!!! ATOMSPHERE PLAIN BUT LIVELY!!!!!

It's a real hole in the wall, but oh what great food. The owner, the multilingual Marco, eventually learns all the regulars' orders.

This is one of the best deals in DC. The food is consistently amazing, and at this point I'm not exactly going there with low expectations. I'll go there on my own, I'll bring my family, I'll order there for work. Everyone loves it. Stop reading and order your delicious gyro.

Went here with my mom about a month ago and she can't stop talking about it. We got the falafel and baklava and it was the best either of us have ever had, possibly the best meal we've ever eaten. The service was wonderful, and it wasn't too expensive. Can't overstate how good everything was, we will definitely be going back! Don't miss it!

Flavorful and fresh Mediterranean food. I had the falafel platter - the falafel was moist on the inside and crisp on the outside. The hummus and tzatziki were very tasty.

We took our last summer intern out for lunch. We all enjoyed the food and felt that the food tasted very good and was homemade. The service was good, the wait for food varied for example the gyros came out quickly while the special took 5-10 minutes longer. One, thing that we were disheartened by was that they only had a 2 pieces of Baklava left while there were 8 people in our party. I will say I enjoyed the piece that I got.
