The food is amazing here, nice 70s atmosphere, the music decor , the dessert here out of this world.

If 3.5 was an option I would’ve rated it that. Had my birthday dinner here a week ago and although the drinks and service was amazing, the food was a bit underwhelming. The steak was not as amazingly described by my server and the famous hashbrown cake was flavorless. The oyster Rockefeller was really good and a unique take on the dish. Overall decent experience.

It's not exactly that this was anything extraordinary, but everything was so well-handled that I could barely come up with a complaint. Excellent service, extensive wine list, and my filet was exactly what I ordered and expected. Only gripes: the cauliflower gratin was tasty but awkwardly served as a whole cauliflower, and the cocktail list could be a tad more adventurous.

There is too much to say about this amazing restaurant. The location in Philadelphia is excellent and the decor inside is upscale. The food was absolutely amazing! We ended up eating most of our meal in silence because the food was just that good. If you're looking for a side with your meal, I would absolutely suggest the macaroni and cheese.

Amazing restaurant in a repurposed bank. Reserve ahead of time , huge lines. Staff are career waiters and are extremely helpful. Food was very good. Both seafood and steak are great options. Management are very attentive. Prices were affordable for such good quality and locale.

Thank you for making our celebration dinner incredible. The first thing I ordered was an incredible Manhattan with a rare Maker's Mark bourbon. My fiance and I shared a porterhouse for 2 and oysters Rockefeller. The oysters were so fresh and the steak was delectable and cut like butter. With truffle butter, and with sides of macaroni and cheese and the famous hash brown, the meal was complete. Add a double cappuccino and a massive and delicious piece of chocolate cake a la mode and.... I can't wait to go back! Btw I usually take pictures at restaurants but was so amazed by the food that I have no pictures to post.

Food and service were both terrific! We had a Steven Starr gift certificate and wanted to try something new. We were seated promptly at 7:30 on a Saturday night which I was pleasantly surprised about. While not being a huge steak eater myself, I decided on the roasted chicken which was delicious. Add that with the biscuits 👌 We will definitely be back!

Phenomenal experience. The steaks were perfect. The service was perfect. It was a perfect restaurant and now Butcher and Singer is my go to splurge restaurant.

Beautiful old school setting, delectable old school dishes, warm and friendly old school staff. I love every single moment spent sitting here. Their chicken milanese is among the best I have had. The prices are awesome given the setting and overall experience. Highly recommended.

I am EXTREMELY picky and have very HIGH standards and this met and exceeded all of them! Our server Amy is a blessing to the field and we were lucky to have her. I have been blessed to have the other TOP steakhouses and this BY FAR is the best, it was a night I will remember FOREVER!

Absolutely wonderful dining experience.. the food, service and ambiance was even better than we expected. The escargots & filets were to die for! We are already looking forward to returning in the future!

This restoran was highly recommended to me by a few people. I've heard that it was the best place for stake lovers. And they didn't lie - Probably the best stake I ever tried. Yet, not just stakes... Everything from appetizer to dessert was amazing even biscuits. Atmosphere there is something special. So if you have a special occasion definitely check it out. Our dinner was about $200 (1 appetizer, 2 stakes, 1 side, 1 dessert and 1 glass of wine).
