Really different from any other place iv eaten at. Though it was mostly burgers they was steak burgers. Very tasty. Staff was helpful. Not expensive either. Lots of variety

The food was amazing! I can't remember the exact name of the burger I had, but I know it had garlic mayo in it. The garlic wasn't over powering and the patty was perfectly cooked. What let this place down was the speed of the service. It wasn't that busy when my friends and I were in and it seemed to take forever for the food to come out. Even though the service was slow, I will come back because the food is just that good.

This has become my top burger place. I live about an hour and a half away and tbh it's worth the drive. An absolute gem. Probably the best burger I've had anywhere, period. There is also a nice selection of craft beers on tap, including various Mad Squirrel and Truman's beers. I thoroughly recommend it!

Juicy burger, really good onion rings, decent craft beer selection. Losses one star because there weren't enough onion rings for the cost. Other than that, good place. Will be back.

My absolute favourite place to eat. I don't live in Cambridge anymore but every time I'm back in the area I come back.Best veggie patties I've ever had, and cannot recommend this place enough!!

I'm gonna start by saying I'm Northern and I was way out of my comfort zone but this restaurant is the only reason I would move neer the area. 7/5 stars!!

Very friendly staff. Burgers ALL available with veggie options! And great choice of craft beer in this cellar location. Next to Nat West bank so easy to miss. Great location, check this out!!

Small burger joint in Cambridge with table service. I tried 'the jack' burger which was good, it had a saucr made of Jack Daniel's. Its in the prime location of Cambridge Market with good signage, so its hard to miss. I didn't try the beer here but they had good a collection.

It is nice, but they took a while to bring what we ordered, and the chips were not as hot as expected. However the burger taste was fabulous, but only if you like medium rare

Well, I've suffered to find a really good Burger place in London and environs. In the end a friend in Cambridge recommended this place and Finally my quest is over. VITRIOL! Descending into the heart of the Market St., this "urban" style place has a really nice selection of burgers and all of them own and guard a nice touch of fine cuisine.Well done Butch Annies. It only remains for you to open a London branch.

Great burger, great beer, great service. Perfect pre event meal

The entrance and steep stairway leading down to Butch Annie's gives no hint of the spacious funky restaurant below. The speciality burgers are very good and our experience of the service early evening was very friendly and efficient. A burger in a wrapper and a mug of chips was as quite expensive compared with "finger food" at McD's or BK (both in close proximity) but the music, atmosphere and food may be worth the difference in cost for many..?

Burgers are sublime. The Smokey Joe is unique, I've never tasted a burger like it with the cranberry sauce offsetting the chilli burn/pickled flavour. The Jack is a solid classic too. My only gripe was a relatively small portion of chips with a little cheese for 4.50, but the burgers stole the show.

Great food and environment! Tried the jack burger and was great. The lady that served us was quite nice and helpful. We were then asked by a man if everything was fine which shows they care about the costumers.

I give this place an A+. The environment inside is worm and comfy, this is only the the side of what they are really best to: Guys, burgers are just amazing!!!! I could easily say the best burger I’ve ever had!!!! Please make yourself a favour and if you’ve never tried, treat yourself with one of their burgers. The fact that deliveroo’s are constantly coming and going is a statement of my review.Keep it up
