This is a very nice family owned restaurant. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The service is personal and caring. The Chef is flexible in allowing us to change some items to be more low Carb. The food and service were excellent with delicious choices at very reasonable prices. This is place is nice enough for a special dinner or date. I am impressed and recommend Bushido to all.

The rolls are always delicious and exactly what I'm craving. I love that they have legitimate photos of each roll on the menu and not just stock photos. Ivy is a super sweet person as well!

Very good food. Have been there a number of times now and done take out several times. The fish is always fresh and well prepared. Staff has a great attitude, and the chef is very pleasant. It's 10 minutes from the house and they always have the orders ready for pick up on time. We've done there a couple times and enjoyed it as well. Would definitely go back.

Hands down best sushi in SRQ. I've never eaten slowly on purpose but this was a meal worth savoring. Im getting that Royal Boat next time !

With so many Japanese restaurants around it's rare you'd find a spot like that! Quality all around. Very fresh produce. Just a very very good food. Best "pizza" I've ever had! ))) Yes, "pizza"! Those that saw the menu would understand.

We like a lot hanging out. Yesterday we visited this superb restaurant which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a beautiful evening there with superb meal and a nice team and a professional cuisine. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will surely go again very soon. Highly recommended.

Dinner was amazing! The fish was so fresh and the staff was very friendly! We were very pleased and enjoyed dinner. You can tell they take pride in their food and presentation. Restaurant is very clean too!

Best sushi in sarasota hands down! The owner takes great pride in his products and what he does. The quality of the fish was amazing!!!!! Sat at the bar last night and he was so friendly and fun. Cant wait to go back! Love it here.

Atmosphere is contemporary Japanese. Food is good and have been there several times before. However last night even with reservations, were made to wait a longtime for our sushi. A large very loud group with offensive language celebrating a birthday made our visit less than enjoyable. Will definitely have to think about other options before returning. Management did nothing to control the intoxicated, foul language in a family oriented establishment with children present.Disappointed as we thought this was a “ go to place for our sushi living family “Not the zen atmosphere of previous visits. 😔

Wasn’t impressed by the sushi rolls, expected larger ones and ones with sauces for the high prices. I also thought the 3 gourmet rolls tasted bland and all similar. We also ordered plain fried rice with just chicken and egg in it - nothing else. When we brought it home, the fried rice had imitation crab meat in it. Needless to say, my 8 year old son wouldn’t eat it. Plenty of other better sushi restaurant in town. Not impressed with this one. They did reimburse us for the fried rice when I called and complained, so that’s why they got 2 stars instead of one,
