Burger Shakes

This was always a favorite of mine growing up. It seems though that the place has gone down hill a bit since then. Went in and there were NO clean tables and only about 3 customers. No reason the store should have been in such disarray.

The people are so friendly. It's like going back to the sixties or even the fifties. Very simply menu. They fix it when you order. Old style food but without the grease.

Burger Shakes is great. Its located on new circle road in lexington. It has the best hamburgers. They are just a some mom and pop hamburger joint. Food is cheap. They have a few different types of sandwich's. Fish, chcicken, fries, chili dogs.But I suggest the double cheeseburger. The lunch rush is between 11 and 12:00 p.m and trust me there's alot of people that eat lunch there. But its well worth the wait.

Cheap. Fast. Amazing food. Blows McDonald's out of the water. Burger King gonna lose that throne.

I am absolutely surprised at the quality, price and taste of their food! Their prices were so, so cheap!! Their fries are the same as McDonald's fries. They are fast, courteous & professional. I have no idea why I've wasted money on other restaurants when this wonderful place has been here all along. I know where to come back to next time I'm in Lexington! One last thing... The milk shakes are perfect! I mean... WOW! My order was 2 Double Cheeseburgers, 1 large fry, 1 medium fry, 1 chili dog, , 1 fish sandwich, 1 small chocolate shake & 1 medium strawberry shake. My total was $18 & some change. This is HIGHLY recommended and I will be visiting again very soon!

Burgers and Shakes used to be a very clean friendly spot to get a great burger and fries! In the last few years it's not near as clean or as friendly as it used to. We watched them turn a hungry man away tonight because all he had was change.

Best milkshakes money can buy. Generous portions of fries. Great burgers. One of my favorite places in Lexington. Cash only!

Best classic cheeseburger you can find in Lexington. It's not an overdone, over ambitious place. Simple food, made very quickly and very deliciously

The best place ever if you're looking for a great burger and fries, but not wanting to spend lots of money! Great staff, great service, and great food!!

***CASH ONLY!!!***This is the unheard of quick, cheap, and good food! The burgers are $1.23 and if you order it "with everything" you're getting ketchup, mustard, pickles, and onion. Just straight up burgers, chicken, hot dogs, fries, and milkshakes. That's it.There's an order window, a pick up window and a drinks window. Nothing fancy, cut and dry. Then to the right there's a small lackluster seating area with 10-15 tables tops. Single stall restrooms are at the back.The burgers were small square patties, similar to Wendy's, but better. The small fry is a perfect size for a single order. They're thick and salted just enough that me, an avid ketchup fry dunker, ate half of them sans ketchup! The large drink is definitely a large and you get it from a normal fountain drink station. It's nothing spectacular, nothing fancy, but good, cheap food.

Burgers, fries and shakes are awesome but needs all the fixings. No lettuce or tomatoes. But down right good tasting and fairly priced

Perfect place if you're looking for a delicious old fashioned diner type of burger!! I will definitely be going back often.
