We visited the Popeyes in Ypsilanti right at lunch time. It was busy and there was a wait. The ladies at the counter handled everything with a smile. The manager put a newbie (I think her name was Jade) on the register and she did an amazing job. The restaurant was clean inside. We were very happy with our experience.

I’ve just recently begun my affair with Popeyes since moving to Michigan and the food at this store is great! On occasion, I will notice some cons;The lobby has been a bit dirty a couple of times, but nothing serious (I’ve worked fast food and I know when it’s busy that gets put off!), also me and my boyfriend have encountered a few workers that weren’t too pleased to be helping us, but again I understand the fast food life isn’t always stress free.I will say, however, besides a couple sour apples the staff are very nice and accommodating and I see myself coming here again for sure! :)

Best chicken sandwich this side of heaven. Also good red beans and rice.

Food is great. Wait time is insane. Have gone to this location twice this month and both times employees seemed to not care. Entire drive thru wait time was more than 35 minutes.

The lines are usually so long I don't bother stopping but I managed to get in before the rush and the food was delicious. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful and that Cajun gravy is hands down the best.

Very slow service. Not single time have I gone here and they havent forgotten something(sauces usually). The chicken is good though..

Ms. Kay is the best! You can tell she loves her job and the customers! Had the famous Spicy Chicken Sandwich and it was worth the wait!

Well I finally tired the spicy chicken sandwich... and I didnt want it to end. Honestly I think I might go back to get another. I waited a half hour.. and it was worth it. The staff was working well together they did seem a bit understaffed. But good service overall.

Usually pretty slow service when I go there and I'm guessing they need better management or maybe better workers which could be a challenge for the area..... could have to do with the fact that the drive thru has this weird robbery resistant window like a convenient store that is very unconveinient..get rid of that stupid thing

The food was ok but I had expected more after hearing about the battle between them and Chick-fil-a. There was a huge piece of chicken in the sandwich but there wasn't any real flavor. The serving of seasoned fries was about half the size of Mc D's. Over all I was disappointed.

First, insta-chicken, processed foods, additives, yes I know: Fast Foods!!! Ugh! I order the 4 piece dark - Not the chicken sandwich, Spicy w a jalapeño. Sometimes I’m given a biscuit, sometimes not. I get Popeyes maybe four - six times a year, yes I do. I say my digestion is like cast iron, I can eat anything, thus my sodium death, nitrite overload, carcinogenic elements, particularly in FAST FOOD CHAINS... Why? We all have our habits. I eat meat for three months, then go meatless for 9 months - to save the planet, assist in ethical practices w USA suffering farm animals as well as a healthier body, etc. . Forget about aesthetics as evidenced in the pictures. The rollover of workers is just that, rollover, we trust, we eat and we bless as a habit. Pay workers a living wage. I am impressed w the flavors of Popeyes regardless of the synthetics used to create those flavors, notice I didn’t say true spices! Deep fried, dipped in spices Cajun flavors, all good, right?

Food is always fresh, establishment is clean 2nd time here since visiting the area and I have to say I have had no problems!! Staff is very friendly and welcoming!!
