Buona Ristorante

We're regular winter visitors to St. Pete's Beach and we LOVE Buona Ristorante! It's tucked in the northern corner of Dolphin Village Shopping Center, with easy parking, indoor and outdoor dining. I enjoy the intimate dining area. You watch as dishes are carried out. ("I'll have what that lady over there's having!") Prices are reasonable, the food is delicious! Salad ingredients are fresh! I recommend the shrimp scampi appetizer, the manicotti and my latest, the romano crusted chicken! They're all top-notch!

Some of the most delicious food I’ve ever had!! Everything is made from scratch and you can tell! The chef came out and talked to us for a little while — he was so nice & incredibly talented. Great service. A must go if you’re in the area!

Every item we ordered surpassed whatever expectations we had. Baked ravioli app, cheesy bread app, spaghetti Bolognese, chicken picatta, house and Caesar salads....all AMAZING!! Attentive service and comfortable atmosphere. Def taking note of this place to come back to.

Loved the pizza & garlic knots. My husband & I went to this restaurant, because wanted to try a different place & near our hotel. Delish! And Chris was very nice and attentive. We will be back.

Usually reserve review until after a few visits to a place. I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life and worked in a number of pizzerias. Got the small goat cheese, sun-dried tomatos pie on a Tuesday (day when pizza is half off) to go. 20-25min wait, normal; they were starting to get busy.Well worth it. Crispy, holds its shape well, yet not dry. Tangy sweet sauce yet not bitter and no heartburn (which I get from pizza sauce everywhere else). Thin, light, airy, yet still filling. Not greasy. Dough was cooked perfectly. I did not require a nap afterward. The topping did not disappoint, nor was it lacking, nor too much; just the right proportion. This is as close to a real Italian pizza pie style that I've seen, done on a large volume basis. Very simple yet satisfying product.Service is simple, friendly, no-frills, gets the job done, but sometimes you got to get their attention to place an order. Outdoor seating is nice, right on the water. Looking forward to bringing friends and family here.

We had a great dinner. Sat outdoors by the water and enjoyed a delicious pizza, dinner salad and bread. Robbie., our server, was super friendly and efficient. We will go back there again.Mike and Marj

On vacation in St Pete’s Beach. Asked someone at Hotel about pizza. They recommended here. We had a pepperoni pizza delivered to Hotel. It was delivered hot and delicious. Dough was fresh, sauce, cheese and pepperoni great flavors. So the next night we decided to go to the Restaurant for an Italian Dinner. The decor is pleasant and eye appealing. Clean and decorated tastefully. The food......REMARKABLE. Each dish is prepared when ordered. No sitting food waiting. Service was wonderful. We will definitely recommend and we certainly will be back.

I stopped here spontaneously because it was an easy pick up after getting supplies at Publix. Very friendly workers suggested ravioli in vodka sauce and it did not disappoint! Yum! Fresh with a great sauce. My husband thought his cheese.pizza was "awesome". I highly recommend!

Absolutely hands down the BEST pizza I have ever experienced! My Husband and I while visiting St Pete had been recommended by the hotel we were staying at (Don CeSar)... Gabbie Took our order over the phone and Celeste delivered our hot fresh pizza. We ordered half meat lovers and the other half with tomatoes,fresh basil ,calamari olives, onion, and artichoke hearts .... Sweet Gabbie also gave us a piece of there tiramisu, absolutely to die for! We will definitely be ordering again and again!!

The restaurant is nice inside and the food and staff are polite but not engaging. Its nothing special but is good when your nearby and hungry.

Awesome pizza! We nearly left without our leftovers, when our attentive server literally sprinted into the parking lot as we were pulling out to give us our box. Thanks Alex!

Pretty good food. We had the Hawaiian pizza and Caesar salad. The pizza didn’t quite have enough toppings, but it was still decent. Salad was great. Fresh bread for the table was fabulous! The food took a long time to come out, so I wouldn’t suggest being in a rush if you chose to eat here.

Great casual atmosphere with good Italian entree’s.Our server Robbie was accommodating and helpful.So happy that they’re open with patio service!

Such an amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Chris was absolutely amazing and so tentative to us. hlHe making sure we had what we wanted and checked in frequently to make sure everything was good. He gave us tips and heads ups on certain areas and was just all around kind. If we lived here, this would definitely be a place we frequented. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm, the staff was kind, and the food was to die for! The food was true authentic Italian pasta. Hands down the best pasta I have ever had.

First time ever eating Buona’s foodCraving pizza really bad, my girlfriend recommended Buona and I must say it was a great choiceI’ve had pizza at many different places in Florida and was usually disappointed, but if I could give Buona more than 5 stars I would Best pizza hands down that I’ve had in Florida We ordered the meat lovers along with wings, which also were very good and meatyDefinitely will be back and can’t wait to try other menu items Keep up the great work 👍👍
