Great down home cookin' in a laid back, small town atmosphere. This BBQ place has been family owned and operated since the 1940s and truly is a hidden gem in the city of Fayetteville.

Stopped in for lunch. Service was fast and friendly. The food came out right after ordering and it was as good as it was fast! It's definitely my favorite mom and pap restaurant!

It's a very friendly and down-to-earth family restaurant no matter who you are you get well serviced food is made the way you order it and they are there constantly to see if you need refills or if there's anything else you need I would recommend this if you're visiting or if you just looking for a good place for lunch or go somewhere are open on Saturdays until 2 but they are also open during the week

First time visiting this place. I also bought a large bottle of homemade sauce which is a secret family recipe made by the owner. Unbelievable good & a great price. Will definitely be visiting again

One of the best cheeseburgers I've eaten--everything is fresh and the burger had a lot of flavor. If you like little off the beaten path places where the locals eat, then Buddy's is your place for breakfast or lunch--they close at 4pm, so plan accordingly. There is nothing fancy on the menu--they do have daily specials, but people who go there are looking for fast, reasonable, and GOOD! PS: plan on paying by cash.

We stopped at this place during a road trip. BBQ seemed like a good idea. I got the pulled pork and they have their own spicy vinegary sauce. There was no other bbq on the menu, just pulled pork. No ribs that I could see, no chicken, no brisket—did I miss it? They had eggs and pancakes though. You pay at the counter. Our bill seemed on the high side. We were not handed an itemized bill, just told what we owed. We kind of wanted to get out of there, and did not question it, just paid it. We left the waitress a tip on the table. Later in the car, we talked it over and thought maybe they had included the tip. Should have asked. Not a fortune though. On the whole I think this place is for locals and if you are not a local, you're better off elsewhere.
