My best guess is they pay their team at least minimum wage so tipping is considered an "extra" and therefore not part of compensation. And, please keep in mind, all businesses pay a fee of 2.5% to 4% of every credit/debit transaction to their credit card processor. Having a tip line costs even more as the tip is typically charged a higher percentage fee and is considered an additional (read separate) authorization. Great service absolutely deserves financial recognition from guests. However, please try to remember that even though you may think small businesses are trying to get one over on you or their team, they are really just trying to provide a service, make payroll, and not lose so much that they have to close shop. So maybe just remeber to put some folding money in your pocket before you head to Bucharest Grill. Cheers! And thanks for supporting independent businesses!

I'm surprised. Having eaten at all the bucharest locations at least once a week for the past 5 years, I've never had one sandwich incorrectly made.
