Had read reviews about the good food and bad service, but we had an opposite experience. Our waiter (a young guy) was great, totally on top of things, our food--not so good. Had blackened chicken nachos which were ok, but not enough "stuff"--mostly chips, wings and blacked chicken pasta were good but the prime rib/steak sandwich (billed as a best seller) was inedible! Tasted like it was cooked, frozen, then thawed and cooked again. Outdoor dining and Live music was cool, but you have to go to a building next door for the bathroom.

The service here was the worst I have ever seen. The bartender working last night (dark hair and dark beard looks to be in his late 20s) refused my brother in law a beer claiming they stopped serving at 10pm. He then walks to another bar and brings it up the the bartender there and was told that wasn’t true. He went back to the love shack and respectfully asked why he was told that and in response the bartender rudely replied that he had asked for a food menu and that’s why the bartender had claimed that. When my brother in law then said that wasn’t the case he was told to leave for NO REASON. As he was walking out of the bar the bartender then turns to a guy at the bar and said “get that kid out of here before I beat his ass” trying to show off which was coincidentally his father.

You come here after spending too long in the city ... the drive in is stressful ... you cannot escape the death grip it puts on you, squeezing the life out of you ... or maybe that's just me. I get in my air-conditioned car, and drive out to M-I and stop in at Bubba's ... sit out on the deck and eat fresh seafood and some sundry assorted beverages ... it's like Beaufort but with a breeze and cooler air. The very best food. The very best view of Goat Island. The very best company. I never want to leave here - ever --- Mondays do not exist at Bubba's.

Happy hour and drink specials. Entertainment was good.

Really cute restaurant on the water. Bubba helps take care of the goats, he catches fresh seafood and teaches children about the inter coastal waters.

The food was very good, not great with very reasonable prices. I recommend the crab nachos. The wonton chips were nice and crispy with good cheese sauce. A little bit more of a bar atmosphere than restaurant with loud but not overwhelming music. If you want a quiet, air conditioned dinner this is not your place. If you want a good bite to eat while having a couple drinks, listening to some good music, and enjoying a view of the inlet with some fresh air, this is a good choice. Our waiter was very friendly and service was prompt.

Such an awesome little place to eat. Right in the inlet where you can view the water. I highly recommend the fish tacos. Only time I ever fish tacos is when I visit here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The inlet itself is a great place to go and hangout and grab some food that isn't crazy expensive and with a great atmosphere.

We enjoyed our evening and had our picture taken by a lovely young lady named Victoria from Hollywood Pictures.

Excellent food..very pet friendly..excellent service..you have to get the crabmeat nachos, they would have made a meal worthy of 5 stars alone! They were enough of an appetizer for our part of four! Will definitely be back on our next trip..God Bless You
