Bru Burger Bar

Two words: BIG. BURGER. Simple menu but everything is unique and tasty down to the condiments! It can get busy and have long wait times but overall a great spot. A little more pricey (note that most sides are a separate charge) but there is bang for the buck.

Super fast service, even considering covid-19..... Friendly staff! Great food!

Lazy, underachieving staff. Too difficult to update hours, stands around open and then when you walk up they say they're closed. Never went before, wanted to try, will never attempt again.

Loved my appetizer order. Delicious and good portioned food. Vegetarian burgers were very tasty. Staff was friendly.Though the place was a little over crowded, it was comfortable enough. One of the few places I like in Indy downtown

Server was great and friendly. Took drink and. Food order quite fast. Got food. In a timely manner. Kids drinks were empty at that time. Didn't get refill till I had to ask for bill. I never seen the server from the time he took our order until it was time to settle the bill. Food was great. The bloody Mary I ordered could have been more tasty. Kiddo said she loved her lemonade. Outdoor seating was comfortable. I loved the fries. Kids didn't care for them. My 13 year old said it was the best chicken tenders she's ever had.

We went for dinner on Saturday every. We sat outside as it was awesome! Service was good. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable with menu. Beer was outstanding and ice cold. A great combination on a warm, humid day in downtown Indianapolis! I ordered a burger with onion rings. The burger was delicious and cooked to order. The Onion Rings though were dripping with grease. My wife had their fries and they were perfect. Love their homemade ketchup.We their with extended family and will return.

Visiting on a business trip and discoved this place. Got the Stilton blue burger. It was Fantastic. Well made and cooked to order patty. Enough of each of the toppings to taste individually but they all played nicely together. If I had to nit pick the top of the bun was heavily buttered. Still delicious, just a lot of butter. Fries were crispy and had some wonderful coating on them. Homemade ketchup made a nice addition to the plate. No idea what it was but it was delicious. Nice balance of beers. Tried a peanut butter milk stout. Also great. Sat and ate at the bar. Bar tender was courteous and prompt but very busy. He did make it a point to check in to check on food and beverage. This was a great place to visit.

We stop by a few times a year when in town and love it!They always have a great tasting burger wit some unique choices. The fries and onion rings are also great. My wife enjoys the salad choices. My only complaint is the massive amount of noise. But, dont let this stop you from going. It would just be nice if there wad some sound deadening material on the wall.But, dont let this stop you from going!!

Although BRU is known for great burgers, they also have other stuff on the menu they do really well. But who cares! Give me that burger!! Man, they are good. Want a great burger served up with great service at a price that won't break the bank? Go no further... stop at Bru.

Food was delicious and the atmosphere was different but nice. Met a friend there, we are both in wheelchairs, and the parking can be an issue. I was told it's best to get there by 11:30am and was able to get a spot with the hash marked area I need. We will definitely go back again.

Never had a bad experience here. Burgers are always good. The only thing I don’t care for, but doesn’t really matter, is their use of those cardboard straws. Just not a fan. Otherwise, this is an amazing place to hit up for a good burger. (The New Yorker, I think that’s the name....has pastrami on it) is AMAZING!

This was a great place to eat and hang out for a bit. The bartender was really helpful, and she was fun to talk with as well. The beer selection was pretty varied, and there were lots of burger choices. The option I picked was delicious. Each burger can be customized as you like, and I found out there is an option to get a smaller sized burger if you're interested.I'd definitely eat at this place again when in the mood for a solid burger.

This is ALWAYS a must go to place whenever I’m in Indy!! Their burgers are awesome and the jalapeño Mac and Cheese is AMAZING!! One of my favorite dishes ever! Love this place

Delicious and great service. 'Rona has us sitting outside but it was a beautiful day.
