Last time we went there the chicken was overdone, the biscuit was overcooked even the mushrooms were terrible

The place looks like nobody's put anything into it as far as updating in years, and I was the only one in the store and they still forgot my damned fries.Update: when I went back they immediately recognized me and knew why I came back, and they upgraded my fries from a small to a large. Luckily I only live three blocks away and was able to go back easily, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm disappointed in my experience there and likely won't be back.

One of few browns left this place used to be a Chicago staple but has been relegated to an every day run of the mill chicken shop not a fan of the chicken at all not a fan of the rest of the food

Great food and variety, love the corn fritters and mac & cheese. However it could be cleaned more often and some employees seem to rush customers on their orders sometimes. Update: Sad to say this but this restaurant is no more, as they run out of business recently! :(

I recently visited this location while I was in the city. The food was excellent and the proportions were plentiful. I was not pleased with the cleanliness of the location. The tables were dirty and the floor was sticky. Attention to detail would be a great help for return business. My apple cobbler thingee was served in a small container with a split lid (as if the lids have been in storage for many years). Totally unprofessional!!!! Next time I will visit another location that is a bit cleaner.Don't let me forget to mention about the model train set with features that were lacking a heartbeat. If you're gonna put something like this on display with features that customers can demo, at least make sure the f***** thing works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
