Great place for biscuits and gravy and a beer during a weekend morning!

Great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The breakfast will make you full. The burgers are really good and juicy. The staff is friendly, and they always have games on the tv.. Even the Bears (also Bears fans hang out there, so I enjoyed myself).

This is the only place where I will order a bacon cheeseburger without condiments. It's truly a beautiful thing. Fries and curds are great, too.

One of the best fish frys!! They have many types of fish. The garlic mashed potatoes are amazing!. Great food and friendly service!

Best burger in Madison, massive, juicy and with fresh toppings. You can get grilled or raw onions. Usually I don't enjoy french fries, but these were excellent, and the soups fabulous. Service was quick and and polite. Will return soon!

Cool place with great drink prices and consistently excellent food!For the size of the place and small size of the Kitchen area I feel the service is more than adequate and if your truly in a rush just call your order in ahead

Before I visited this establishment, I had an image in my mind of what it would be like. The reality of this restaurant blew me away! Is this haute cuisine? Decidedly not. Is this one of the best spots in Madison for a laid-back Friday night dinner? Absolutely! They had a cheese soup on special that I didn't have high hopes for but ordered anyway. Guys, it was for real homemade cheese soup made with pepper jack cheese! It was like eating the very best version of spicy cheese sauce. My only regret was not ordering more of that soup!

Very good Bacon Cheeseburger - cooked to order per your preference, hot crispy Fries & very tasty Beef & Mac Soup!! Good & attentive table service. The only negatives - a bit of a strange entry area & some of the booth benches need new coverings. A bunch of tape is rather unsightly. But hopefully fairly new owners have plans for some needed fixes & upgrades. Support this locally- owned business!! It's well worth it!!

Pretty much the best burgers on the planet. Glad to see new owners didn't change things up, even if people whine about the lack of beer taps. Love this place and stop for dinner every time I'm in Madison.

I loved this place before it changed owners. Since then the food quality and atmosphere has gone down hill. It's clear the new management is more interested in turning a quick buck then preserving the nice hometown pub feel the place used to have.

Tried their wings and honestly I was not impressed. They tasted like they were baked in an oven and were luke warm when I got them. I couldn’t even finish them. I’ve heard good things about them from friends so I’d be willing to try them again sometime in the future.

Always a great breakfast, I go whenever I want a big omelet. Always good to see Gary and listen to his stories.

I adore this restaurant very much. theres a unique mood. The food is good. the service is powerful and the team is friendly. The pay is modest. very much recommend.
