Decor is pretty minimalist, although the bowls on the wall are a nice touch. The servers are friendly. The food is super fresh and definitely not to be mistaken with cheap Chinese takeout. I am a big fan of the modern-style dim sum dishes they have. My favorite dish is the duck confit dumplings with hoisin dipping sauce.

Really great service and decor. The food is clean & tasty, if slightly on the expensive side. It's hard to find good Chinese food in Brooklyn that doesn't make you feel like sleeping a fortnight afterwards. Good for take-out or dine-in.

I've been to Brooklyn Wok Shop twice in one week. This is not by coincidence. The homemade noodles come in a savory broth. I'm a fan of the calamari. It's a decent-sized appetizer, not overly bland. Apologies to all past & future dining companions, but I'm not one to share scrumptious squid. The people here (staff & owners) are beyond friendly. They took the time to ask my name, to welcome me back on the return, and periodically check in to see how well I like the food & make suggestions.
