Good selection of German Beers kept in good condition. Garden could do with lots of Tender Loving Care (dead tomato plants still in their potting containers?) Shame that the waiting staff were kept waiting for orders at the Bar by using some bizarre system that seemed to micro-manage their service.

Had a very good experience in here with my wife. The food comes out quick and the service is just excellent. Prices are fair.

This spot never fails to deliver. They serve awesome dishes for fair prices, there are no long waits even when the place is full.

On a weekday was fairly empty which is not necessarily a bad thing. There were good amount of mosquitoes around, so consider getting protected.

What a welcome addition to Brooklyn! Adjacent to the Grand Prospect Hall and with shared bathrooms, this is a lovely outdoor space with various levels and types of seatings (picnic tables, high boys, shorter tables) throughout a garden that is shady and cool with a WWII memorial smack dab in the middle of the garden. The space is well-laid out, staff is friendly and I appreciate that they serve brews from local breweries, cocktails and have a decent wine list along with a well-rounded food menu serving Bavarian and American bites.I tried the wiener (beef and pork sausage) sandwich which comes with fries and sauerkraut. The wiener was delicious complemented by a great bun. The potato pancakes had a good onion to potato ratio, but they were a bit soggier than I like. BONUS: They accept credit cards!

Great food, very nice staff members, regularly excellent atmosphere. They charge affordable rates and the food quality is good. I recommend this place.

Great place for all formal occasions

Decent German beer selection on draft and beautiful beer garden. The interior could use a little updating but overall worth the visit. Great staff as well!

A vegan option at a German beer gardens is nice. It's an interesting spot with a large garden and trees and a fountain. Unexpected inside quarters. Quite large. Nice for big events, like a high school prom, etc. They were out of several beers when we were there and the nice server clearly knew nothing about beers.

It was relaxing and reasonably priced. I would go there again.

Close to subway and super cute outdoor seating with some private areas. Wish there were even more beers on tap but overall very good service, reasonable prices and a great local find.
