Was given incorrect information at the front desk. Server had a horrible attitude towards customers. Manager was not helpful in resolving any issues with service

Not the greatest food and extremely pricey. If you have no options, then this place is ok.

I have been here many times, and generally like it. However, tonight I went around midnight, and was told they were closed, despite a posted closing time of 12:30am. For this reason I dropped the rating.

Awful customer service. Waited 48 mins to have someone come take our order after they told us they would be right with us. We ended up not ordering anything and just waited for our room instead and ate elsewhere.

Wonderful place for drinks. But believe it or not, their food was very good! I ordered their sliders twice.

The bartender at 49 Bar and Lounge was wonderful. I only know her name is Kim. She was fun, helpful and kind. Her personality made our stay there great, we made a point to go to that bar each evening because of her.

It’s not bad to have a small drink here!

If you want to be jgnored, not waited on, and your time wasted , stop in here and eat . I’m still waiting on a check. We ordered a water at the beginning of the meal with our drinks and never received them until we got someone else to get them for us. I’m going to say it’s not even our waitresses fault, she has no help. Awful management and management deserves to be fired !

Having been assured that the on-site restaurant at the Crown Plaza was top notch (according to the concierge, with all the local competition it had to be),I had dinner at Broadway 49 and was pleasantly surprised. The service was prompt and professional, the decor understated and upscale. I started with a Moscow Mule (which was very strong, had no sign of any mint and was quite honestly the only thing about the meal I didn't enjoy ). I ordered the California salad which was a tasty blend of crisp greens, candied walnuts, dried cranberries and blue cheese. Delicious! For dinner the waiter recommended the ribeye and I'm glad he did. It was cooked to perfection, very little fat, tons of flavor, sitting on a mound of garlic mashed potatoes and broccolini. Although I barely had enough room to finish my meal, I could resist the cheesecake for dessert (from Juniors no less!) and I'm glad I ordered it. It was worth every calorie!

Broadway 49 is a disgrace. We waited for fifteen minutes to be sat down whilst a server stood fifteen feet away fully aware of us with his arms crossed ignoring us. Eventually we sat ourselves down and waited again for a server. Eventually one came and tried to force us to order from the New Years Eve menu which had a $50 per person minimum and an automatic 18% gratuity (god knows what I should have been grateful for!). Only problem - it wasn’t New Years Eve and they were just trying to con us out of more money despite already spending an extortionate amount to stay at the Crowne Plaza. I would AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! P.S. I cannot comment on the quality of food or drinks having never made it that far due to the ineptitude of the staff!

Here over an hour and was only able to get two drinks. Understaffed and over priced.

Stayed at the hotel for five nights. Ate and had drinks at the bar often. Sitting at the bar, the service and selection of drinks was great. But service while sitting around the bar was slow and spotty. Always had to flag someone down even when they walked by many times. Never sure who my server was. Good enough food for a bar. Only had the appetizers. They were large portions and what you would expect from more of a chain restaurant.

We stayed there for 2 nights and we loved every moment of it. Ericka checked me in and she is such a doll! She was extremely friendly and gave me a great room with an amazing view of Broadway. I also met Vicky Martin at the front desk, she was really friendly, she was running jokes with us and she gave me comp breakfast because it’s was our first time in New York City which was very good treat , both Ericka and Vicky Martin are extremely good assets to your hotel. Lastly the housekeeping was also very friendly and high spirited. I would totally recommend this property, awesome staff, awesome location and the property is up to date!
