Brian's Smokehouse and BBQ

This was fantastic! I got that meat sampler and was quite impressed. The brisket was fantastic. The ribs were competition style so they had a bite.....and you could pull them off the bone.....but they didn't fall off the bone. Just the way I like them. The pulled pork was incredible. And the chicken was so good with their white barbecue sauce! And the smoked brat was a little piece of meat dessert. Sherry was fantastic and we got to meet Brian....who clearly knows what he is doing. I highly recommend it. It was worth the drive from Green Bay. We will be back.

Delicious BBQ..

The ribs are good. And plenty of sauces to try. The old fashioned I got was mostly water and the sweet tea tasted like olive oil. The service was faster than expected.

Great ribs, pork and brisket! Pretzel was yummy!

We were in Manitowoc to take the car ferry and googled for a restaurant before departure. Found Brian's and wow...this unassuming restaurant nailed BBQ. My husband loved it and as a vegetarian I still had lots of great side options to make a meal. Friendly service and clean, too.

With ample parking in the rear , & along the front & side , you will walk past cozy outdoor seating into a clean , cozy , inviting hometown , oldtime restaurant , with selfserve drinks , tea , bottled sodas , & craft beers , to a ample barbecue menu ! The friendly staff brought a generous sized beef brisket for me that melted in my mouth ! With 8 different tasting barbecue sauces sure to finding the best ! They also provide catering service for when you have a party or special occasions & take out !

Loved it, our first time and we followed trip advisor review and wasn't disappointed, food was amazingly delicious ribs was beyond words, loved it.

Had the smoked bratwurst & fries. The brats were delicious and the fries were too; and hot! They were advertising Saturday from specials. I ordered a tall margarita on the rocks. I did not watch it being made; but, it tasted like either pure margarita mix with no alcohol or a Lime-a-rita poured in a glass. So, food great; drink not so much.

Have been going here since it opened and pleased to report the food has been consistent and the service is always excellent. If you are looking for good BBQ then look no further

Excellent. Meat was delicious. Sauces were interesting. Ambience was greasy spoon diner, service was great...prompt and informal. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Oh and do not leave without ordering the fresh pork rinds...omg good

I would not recommend getting take out but the Staff was friendly and prompt. The sampler was OKAY for the price. The sides were skimpy and our tacos were burnt and messy. I would definitely try this place again for indoor seating since it’s a 30min drive. The pulled pork was excellent and so are the sauces.Almost forgot to mention,The beans were phenomenal!!!!

They cured this NC Natives homesick with the perfect tatse of home! Meat seasoned wonderful, dont need sauce but the Carolina Red and Carolina Mustard are worth trying(I would buy). So good I hurt my dad's feeling telling him Brian's sauce was better(my dad is a pitmaster) Cornbread was so fluffy, fries seasoned(like bojangles:) mac n cheese with perfect hint if smoke flavor! Great service with amazing at home vibe inside. Thanks a million for making Wisconsin bearable for this GRITS!

A great hidden gem.

The food was excellent here however the service lackluster. Me and my wife had the bunt tips the two other guests that were with me what is the nachos search for very good the waitstaff just seemed very slow it was a surprise when I had to get up and get my own drink after I had asked her to get me one

It was like the definition of a farmer. A man outstanding in his field. Awesome food. Awesome service. Very reasonable prices. Exactly what you would expect from a smokehouse resteraunt. I rate it 5 out of 5.
