BrewRiver Creole Kitchen

First time here but will not be last. Devon our server was excellent in his suggestions. Pasta Monica was delicious. Pickles and pimento cheese are must haves. The mac &cheese was to die for and the jambalaya was the best ice tasted. My husband has the PB&J drink and it was very good. Fizzy Manhattan is a must drink slowly but good.

We were very disappointed! After reading the review in The Enquirer, we thought we would do our part to support a local restaurant during the shelter in place time period, big mistake! This restaurant is a 20 minute drive from our home, I will not recommend this place of business. We ordered online two sandwiches and the buttermilk fried chicken dinner. The sandwiches were to come with French fries, coleslaw and a side salad. We only received the side salad and the fried chicken was over cooked and dry. I tried to call Brew River, Sunday evening when we opened our boxes. The message you receive is over six weeks old talking about Mardi Gras and are asked to leave a message. I left two messages Sunday night during their business hours. No one returned the calls. In a time when businesses are struggling, customer service is everything, especially if you want returning customers. I can not recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

Food was fine, no complaints with taste or quality. The server was new, but friendly and accommodating. The setting and decor we're quite nice. The value was marginal as the prices were high for the ingredients and complexity of the product.

Found Brew River while looking for a quick bite in the MLT area and while the reviews and menu was there, I'm not that impressed. For a "Creole Kitchen" it was too modified for my liking. Having actually been to Louisiana, I like the true Creole food as it is. The food was good in it's own right but not true creole. I will say that their dessert was good and the beer menu wasn't too bad, though they were missing the basic domestic.

Service was great food was even better. So much flavor and the pork rinds were popping on the plate. Just great food.

The service was excellent! (I'm sorry, I can't remember his name🤔) The food -delicious! We hadn't ever dined there before and we wanted to check out the live music. The pork rinds were awesome! They were still popping a little when brought to the table. My husband had the chicken dinner with their cole slaw and I had their black bean and chick pea burger with the slaw. Great food! Desserts are wonderful, too! Our server was very helpful, patient and very attentive (without hovering). A really nice date night!

It is always so much fun to visit your restaurant. Excellent service with very friendly staff and amazing food. The pork rinds come out sizzling and the sauce is delicious. Your music is always exceptional as is your food. Cajun shrimp and pasta dish was so good and enough for plenty of leftovers. Cocktails are tasty with a unique selections and the bartender is welcoming and willing to answer questions. So happy you’re in this new location!!
