My family visited this establishment from St. Petersburg and we loved the experience. The food is amazing. My children ate until they could only sit and state at one another.

This place is off the chain with goodness. I thought my grandmama was in the back cooking. I ate so much food I almost didn’t have room for the cobbler. But I had to eat some. It was calling me. Please eat me. LOL

My boyfriend introduced me to this place an I'm so glad he did. It's the perfect little hole in the wall. Makes getting food quick and easy!

Friendly clean place with a variety of food for an off the beaten path place! My wife and I have eaten here a couple times and have enjoyed it everytime we go!

Amazing hidden gem for breakfast if youre in Tallahassee make sure you stop by if you want some real food service was great price was more than fair this took me back to the days of going to eat at my grandmas delicious

5 stars well earned. Smothered chicken was the best. Fried chicken was great. Homestyle potatoes are a must have. Cabbage and green beans were also very good.

Unhappy customer the food was awful the grits were gritty the bacon was undone the eggs were dry the sausage was very rubbery this use to be my favorite spot until now! PLEASE GET NEW COOK!!!!! BETTER QUALITY FOOD

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD!!! i just found it on google and i though i would check it out. Now i am sitting here eating REAL eggs (not the fake stuff) and buttery grits and the best HOME MEADE biscuits and gravy i have ever eaten. i 1000% Recommend this place. everything is homemade and DELICIOUS.

I have a question do u only pay by card or can u use cash? I been hear before but I didn't pay an I stayed in the car but foood is delicious lovvvve it

I love coming here. Great way to not have to cook at the house. The liver and onions is especially good.

This may not be a fair review. But last year I ate here and was not impressed. Not much flavor. Iffy prep. Quiet uninviting atmosphere. The cook, while mediocre and probably distracted by current conditions, seemed to be the only one concerned.

I found this gem utterly by accident, and I will be back! Not a hint of MSG or any other artificial flavor enhancer anywhere. Nothing but actual meat and vegetable ingredients freshly cooked with legitimate seasoning, maintaining better-than-home-cooked textures. I haven't tasted liver and onions this good in 50 years! The baked chicken was moist AND flavorful (how often do we settle on one or the other). The peach cobbler was really good, and the apple cobbler was spectacular (had to try both the first time). I found the okra and tomatoes head and shoulders above any other offering in Tallahassee, buffet or otherwise.The staff were friendly, helpful, and appreciative that we came to try the place. I can' remember the last time someone actually smiled at me, looking me in the eye, while inviting me to return. Sweet people.
