30 years in the making and still the same great quality food and service.

We've been coming here for over 18 years. It's a great restaurant. We know the original owner as well as the current ones. They're god people. It's small but perfect for a family. The prices are very reasonable and the food is tasty. Definitely drink the tea while you're there.

The food was meh, its was overpriced for what you get.

Very simple restaurant. Only two staff members required to run the business. Food is always fresh. Bread is huge and you can watch the staff roll the dough and throw it in the tandoor. One of my favorite go-to's.

I was out shopping Sunday night and wandered into Bread and Kabob...the best random happening of all week! This hole-in-the-wall Persian place welcomes you with an aroma of sizzling meats and fresh baking tandoori. The staff greeted me warmly and immediately began preparing my food. I sat at the counter and watched as local families dined while the staff prepared my fresh chicken kabob - which was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The bread is soft, yet chewy, perfect filled with meat and stewed chickpeas. When the owner swung by and asked how it was, my answer, and the answer, was that its perfect.

Large amount of food, I think it is better to order food to go instead of eating there. The place is too small.

Excellent!!It’s my first visit to this place. I like Persian kabobs, but this restaurant offers the same great food for less price.Very friendly people and very good service.And to make things even better, they offer FREE delicious Persian tea 🙂

By far one of the best places for kabob. It's a hole in the wall place and does not look like much, seating is limited, but the food is amazing and the prices are right! I have been going here for many years for kabob and the awesome quality has stayed the same. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I ordered the gyro plate , the amount for the price is small, I had much better gyro plate not going back again they r stingy with there portion

Always on point delicious food fresh

20 years ago this was the best place for kabob in DC. I go back every year or two to see if it's gotten better again. It's progressively worse and worse. See you again in 2 years, I'm sure I'll hate it.
