Loved this place. Dropped by for lunch. Service excellent, food very tasty, and prices not too bad for Georgetown. Place is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Brasserie Liberté is SUCH a fabulous addition to DC’s food scene and exceeded our highest expectations! Professional and thoughtful service combined with a delicious menu made for a memorable experience. The duck entree melts in your mouth and the entire dessert menu will leave you wanting for more! Enjoy!

Amazing atmosphere and decor. Main dish was good but could have had a little more flavor. Desert was delicious and totally recommend this place.

Everything was absolutely amazing! It was so delicious that I ate the broth and onions in 60 seconds. Then I took my time with the cheese and bread. Sorry for not taking a picture before I started eating.

I've been there twice already. Great restaurant with delicious food and great service. They are busy but attentive and they go out of their way to make it an exceptional experience. But the most important experience I had was last Wednesday. I went there with a group of friends and when we left, I forgot to take my birthday gift ($300 gift card) and my sweater. The next day, I left town for the weekend and didn't call the restaurant till yesterday to inquire about my items. To my surprise, the manager (Dean) told me that he has put them aside waiting to hear from me. That shows integrity... many times I have left items at restaurants and never seen them back. This shows everyone there has integrity and they care about their clients. That's why they kept my items for one week. We will go back again and again. Thank you to all of the staff.

The atmosphere and service was great. We ordered snails and Brussels for appetizer and they were great. For dinner we had duck and lamb. Lamb was over cooked dry and salty and duck wasn’t that much better. We let them know about the lamb and they credited that back and gave us free Deserts which was nice from them. Overall I would go for appetizer and a drink but not full meal.

Nice place. All the dishes ranged from good to very good. On the very good side were the French Onion Soup and tartare. One thing I like about this place is that it embraces its American French fusion nature, rather than trying too hard a pose as pure French which some places do.Probably a little over-priced for what it is. No "wow" dishes.

What a pleasant surprise for Georgetown. Finally, a new restaurant worthy of the neighborhood. This place is awesome, service is great and the food is excellent. French brasseries are not uncommon in DC with the likes of Le Diplomate, Bistro du Coin and Chez Billy Sud to name a few of our go-to’s. They are each different, none of them directly compete. Brasserie Liberte seems to blend a light friendly atmosphere with an upmarket air that balances well between the formal and the casual. We came here for brunch, a small group with a child and service dog and enjoyed a fabulous experience. We were catered to perfectly on all matters including food allergies. The gluten free bread was by far the best I’ve enjoyed in a restaurant, anywhere! Great job to the team here. We will be back.

An awesome experience! I had been to the space before (when it was Morton’s Steakhouse) and they did a wonderful job transforming it. On top of the atmosphere, the food and drinks were superb (stopped by for an afterwork drink and snack). I highly recommend the Tarte Flambée. Staff was great and attentive- overall, a fresh new location in Georgetown!

Questions & Answers

Yes, on the opposite side of the street is parking. Also an above ground lot is available across from the restaurant. And a garage is on same side of the street, just down the block.
