Brasserie Athenee

Folks took good care of us, I left my credit card on the table, came back 4 hours later after realizing I did not have it with me. The manager had kept it secure.Who says New Yorkers aren’t nice? And the food was good !

What a fantastic find. A small but perfectly formed menu. The staff were great and very helpful. The mean we had was delicious

I had the pear salad (ask for dressing on the side because it's a little strong), and one of my companions got the mac and cheese. They thought it was too sweet. We both liked the goat cheese appetizer though.The staff was exceptional, table and seats etc. were clean, and if you get one of the many window seats there's a good view to be had.Overall, though, I'm not that impressed. You could probably get the same meal elsewhere in the theater district for less.
