Boxcar at Hop City West End

Excellent prepared food. Interesting and mouthwatering menu combinations. Prepared to order and fresh! My brother was in town on business from upstate NY and I drove from Marietta to try this joint out. We were not disappointed. We decided to order an appetizer, entree and dessert and split all three. The serving size was PLENTY and the meal was outstanding from prep, presentation, taste and service. The vibe and decor was very cool and chill. The downstairs has an extensive shop for beer and wine. We even played a full round of "Boccerball" which I am now addicted to! Of course my big bro won by four points! I would definitely return. It was a fun evening.

The Vagabond 😋- a mouthwatering journey for your palette- not JUST another chicken sandwich!!!Deliciously cooked chicken with all the trimmings with a surprise for your tastebuds as the homemade pimento cheese and bacon- onion jam immerse your mouth with Heavenly flavors!!! Complimented with fresh crispy fries!!!!Pick up service excellent- hot and ready and great personnel!!! Hate I can only give 5 stars ⭐️

The drinks were great and the atmosphere is amazing. Great place to get together with friends or just have date night. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because I wasn't overly impressed with the food. It was just okay, the best thing that our table ordered was the wings.

There was nice out door seating that in warmer weather would have been our preference. There was some confusion in our beer selection which resulted in three beers being brought to us, they were totally cool about it and even apologetic even though the confusion was on our end. We enjoyed our menu choices. We got the sprouts and apples for the share, we also got the vagabond and turkey chili. We both really enjoyed our meal and unlike many soup severing it was amble as a meal. The wait staff was very responsive and courteous. Overall I would recommend the Boxcar.

Boxcar has come a long way since opening. Staff is wonderful and the menu is really great. Food is so good, cocktails are even better. Good selection of beer and reasonably priced wines. This pasta was maybe the best thing I’ve ever had there, but the sweet potato fries are my go-to
