Comfortable and casual place with a simple menu but very average wine options by the glass, better for the bottle as usual. Great steak and good service. Will be back to try the burger 😍

Bit of a strange experience. The steak was good, cooked well and tasted delicious. However, the rest of their menu is just really lacking. They do three starters, none of which we wanted to order, the sides were really plain. Just broccoli with some nuts on top, the chips were really standard, and the courgette was a little hard with a strange sauce on top. Finally, the dessert menu was bizarre as well. You could choose from a poached pear, sticky toffee pudding and a cheese selection, and that’s it... we even got offered a free dessert because we had to wait over an hour for our steak, and we didn’t take them up on the offer because there was literally nothing I wanted to eat. For the same price you could eat at Hawksmoor or Goodman, which are by far the better choice.

We ordered the chicken and rosemary fries. The chicken was beautifully cooked, it was tender yet crisp on the outside. It was served with a tasty horseradish jus which complimented the dish well. The fries were well seasoned and a decent portion. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience, although quite expensive.
