We called in a reservation and were told "no problem." We arrived to find no reservation and a 48 minute wait. Our order arrived 40 minutes later. The food was good and hot but the meat on my plate was not cooked inside and I sent it back. 25 minutes later I got my meal. It was burnt. After we found the manager, who never came to our table, they did comp my meal and discount the ticket 30%.

Wonderful food! This place is a gem. The staff was kind, professional and considerate of our diet restrictions. They have gluten free buns made locally. The atmosphere was awesome. I would highly recommend Born in a Barn to anyone and everyone.

Great food. Kinda a big hole in the wall type place. Not a huge amount of tables. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

JP WAS AN AMAZING BARTENDER!!! I’ve had a hard week and the experience I had here turned it all around, I appreciate his customer service and awareness so much and will recommend this place to anyone who stops in Laramie wyoming. Not arrogant at all 🤷🏿‍♂️

We were a little skeptical by the look of the entrance initially, as it appeared to be straight out of a 70s ski movie. After going in however, we were immediately hit with both kind employees and the delicious smell of some reviving food. We had a local can of Bomber Mountain beer (they don’t have any craft beers on tap) and 8 boneless wings (we did two different, amazing sauces). We also dove into an incredible double patties burger that came with a delicious FRIED MAC AND CHEESE PATTY in the middle. It was as amazing as it sounds. Honestly one of the best diner burgers I have ever had, cooked perfectly and expertly paired with a delicious sauce and cheese. We paid $1 more and upgraded to the onion rings - perfect crispy rings of straight goodness. Couldn’t recommend this establishment more!! Everyone was very kind, and our server was great!

The service is great. The ambiance was consistent. The rest room was clean. The food is affordable. They ID anyone who orders a drink.I'd give an extra star if the food had a thicker flavor. But I would absolutely still recommend this place to anyone passing through Laramie.

I’m from Buffalo,NY and still live here so I know good wings when I have them. Only place in Laramie that has great wings. I honestly thought I was back in Buffalo eating them. They are fantastic. Their other food is delicious as well but if you want truly great wings while in Laramie this is the spot!

Haven’t been here in a while but the quality of food was abysmal, even worse for their increased prices and reduced menu. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the waitress was friendly and did her job well. Fries were soggy and way over salted. Top half of the hamburger bun was flattened into a mushed piece of bread and the bottom half was so soaked in grease that it just disintegrated. Instead of having thick single hamburger patties they now have two thin burger patties and don’t ask for your cooking preference (not that it mattered because my medium rare burger was just the two well done patties) not sure who was picking the music or station but pretty sure the playlist was “Cringe hits of the 00’s” Overall just very disappointing, especially with how good this place used to be. Overpriced for below average food, hope they treat their servers well for being the only redeeming grace for their disaster of a kitchen.

Stopped here for dinner on our way from Peoria, Illinois to Olympia, Washington. We had 4 adults, 1 child and an infant in our party. The atmosphere has a very local, bar feel. It’s not an inappropriate place for children but not the most family friendly restaurant (although they do have a children’s menu). The bar is located at the front and in the back is the seating for diners. The seating is very limited and small, but the booths are cozy. In our party we ordered the fried pickle spears for an appetizer (good, standard), and for our entrees we ordered the smoked chicken sandwich with fries (x2), bone-in wings, and a burger with fries. The wings were a little cold when they came out with our food, the chicken sandwiches were good, but lacked in sauce. The chicken was also diced, not a breast or pulled, so it made it difficult to eat the sandwich without the chicken falling out. The burger was good. The fries are more soft than crispy, but not bad. Our server was very friendly.

Best burgers and wings for miles. It's worth the drive from Colorado. Fries could be a little better but the burger is what we come for. You won't find burgers like this in Northern Colorado.
