Cute cafe with a nice initiative where you can buy a 'delayed' coffee for someone unable to afford it, so they can come there and have a cup of coffee. Love it!

You enter a cozy living room where everything is on the theme of books. There is a passage to a bookshop in the space next to it, but you can also try the excellent coffee and food first.Down the stairs you enter (still) a living room and study that is ideal for a quiet read or work. And you don't feel like reading? You will be read on the toilet, although it is of course difficult to stay there for an hour 😁

Small cafe combination with a bookstore. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in Utrecht. In the basement of the cafe the Dutch style is very cozy, various zones left by antiques are organized. There is a bookcase from where you can take a book to brighten up your free time. The kitchen is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Be prepared that the sandwiches will be served with a knife and a fork, they really are so convenient :)
