Their daily specials are a value worth stopping in for! Umm... Sorry--the food is quite good too! Main courses (meats, fish) are home-cooked soul food style. Some sides are too, but even those that may be "canned" are "finished" soul food style, and taste home-cooked... I'm partial to the catfish and the mac 'n' cheese! 🙂

While passing thru, on way to Greensboro, stop for a quick bite. Was nothing quick about food order. Which came from their late night menu. Beside the hour or so wait for food. The atmosphere/vibe while waiting was nice thou, peoples were live dancing & having a good time.

Great soul food beautiful place. Took a while to get the food but it was well worth it. Happy to find a place so close to home that have good soul food. Love it. Will definitely visit again. Try the Mrs boogie for happy hour she really dont play.

I had the day's special. Others at my table did not and the wait was extra long for our food. So, while the food is delicious, fresh and portions are good, you can't be in any type of hurry.

"Soul Food?" I'm white and I cook better soul food than this restaurant. Instant potatoes, canned cabbage, very thin hamburger steak. Disappointed

This place is obviously one of the best place in the area. Anytime I come to this place I am incredibly satisfied. They always keep their high standard service and the topmost level of meals they offer. You no doubt will love this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

The food, the atmosphere, the FOOD, the owner was lovely & lively, THE FOOD! This place does have a bar with great alcoholic beverages also (per my neice who tried the Boogie's original cocktail)! All around great service and amazing SOUL FOOD!

Absolute horrible service. I sat the bar and it took 10 minutes for someone to ask me what I wanted and an hour for me to get my food. The turkey wings were dry and the gravy taste like it came out of a jar the fries were under done and I got the occasional hint of someone smoking weed
