Bon Juk

It's hard to choose a place in this neighborhood with many new and older places. Many are for large groups and parties. Bonjuk is for a peaceful and healthy meal. The soups are all made with careful attention to detail, ingredients are finely chopped to ensure maximum flavor. I like to try new places but if it is raining and you want comfort food that is healthy then this place is for you.

A good place to go for specialized porridge. The setting is quiet and clean. Service was wonderful. Quite pricey for rice porridge at a location this far from Main St.

I always go here when I feel like eating comfort food. I attempt to make kimchi porridge at home and it's just not the same. My go to dish is always the octopus kimchi porridge. The side dish of the soy sauce meat compliments the dish really well. I often dine alone here and have always felt relaxed.
