Bojangles' Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits

We had a great time here, traveling back in a small convoy, from North Carolina. it's all kind of a blur because the day started at about midnight, and involved flying and driving through several States. The Bojangles stop was a nice break, the chicken was fantastic, and once again, Americana providing a little food and levity, with clean tables and cold drinks, was much appreciated! Each day, I realize more and more, that the news is trying to convince us that people are at each other's throats, but every day I travel America, I realize that generally speaking the opposite is true and people are doing their jobs and taking pride in that....

I love Bojangles chicken but never get it up north. So I just had to have it! I would go again and again, and would encourage you to as well. My helping of dirty rice was small and old. My seasoned fries were barely seasoned. But those chicken breasts and biscuit reminded me of why I LOVE Bojangles soooo much. I enjoyed chatting with the senior employee (maybe the assistant manager). She was trying to keep the brood of young employees on task but was unsuccessful. Better dirty rice and a couple more employees like that older employee and this place would be rocking a five star rating!

The food was delicious as always but service was lacking. The 4 stars is a reflection of the food itself but the service and attitude of the workers is much less. Was not super busy when I stopped and went inside and had a very simple to go order that was still done incorrectly (rang up with cheese when I said no cheese). The older Caucasian lady serving orders seemed irritated with being at work and kept trying to give me and another customer orders that weren't ours. Had to ask for my coffee cup twice. Convenient location, tasty food and hot coffee but lackluster service...
