Bodega Seminole Heights

Great smoothie. Loved it at 7, but would be better at 5

The original Bodega in St. Pete is my absolute favorite place to eat in St. Pete. Now I don’t have to cross the bay to get the same insanely good sandwiches. The new Seminole Heights location is nearly identical to the original location: same menu (all good stuff), same kind of outdoor seating, with bar seating available. Their Cuban sandwich is my favorite; glad to have another great food spot in the neighborhood!

I really didn't like the food. The sandwich meat in the Cuban was dry and the rice and beans in the platter I got was way too salty to the point of being inedible. Disappointed as I really was excited to try this place

Pretty good, will definitely be back! First time for my husband and I. I ordered the tempeh plate (vegan) and my husband got the lechon plate. The maduros (plantains) were amazing! By far my favorite part of the whole meal. The tempeh and slaw were excellent as well. The beans and rice were very bland and could have used more lime (the lime wedges served with our meals were rock hard) and Cholula. (They had Cholula but I didn't notice it until after we were done). The lechon also was good according to my husband.Bodega loses points for the bland rice and beans and the plastic cups and utensils. The food is served in paper containers which is great but the single use plastic ware is a turn off. They also still have single use plastic straws. The atmosphere is nice and no frills, a plus. There are 2 shuffle board decks in the courtyard. This would be a nice place for a get together or a low key party.

This is my favorite spot for a Cuban sandwich. But the best sandwich of all is Bodega's Apollo asada: chicken, avo, mango heaven on the best Cuban bread. There's nothing like it anywhere. Its the best .

I arrived there for Lunch at almost exactly Noon on a Friday. Plenty of parking when I arrived, a few spots still available when I left. I ordered the Cuban with a Sweet Tea and man, that was a juicy, flavorful, crispy (but not too crispy) bread with some crisp pickles. Oh boy, that was a taste Cuban. Food came out after about 10min from the order. Largely an outside, patio style venue, with tables and umbrellas for some coverage. Very Dog Friendly. Covered Small Bar and Covered Larger bar line the patio with 2 shuffle board options in the corner. Didn't go inside (if there was one) or use the restrooms during my time there. First time there, but won't be my last. Add it to the list of places to get a fantastic Cuban Sammie!

The sandwiches here are so amazing! The space is beautiful and the music and ambiance is BEYOND!I wish I had time to try it all, but the chicken sandwich and cuban black beans were so good I'd have them again if I could!

I personally think they have the best Cuban in Tampa! Really tender juice meat, amazing flavor. Just be sure to ask for mustard on it, really necessary to have that flavor to cut through all the rich and fatty meat. The jicama slaw is amazing. I’ve also had their other sandwiches and I was really impressed. Just avoid the guava pastries. Not so great.

Great location and outdoor setup. Service was really friendly and food was fresh and reasonably priced. We tried a couple sandwiches which were fine, will probably come back to try entrees as I’ve heard rave reviews.

Great food. Mojo pork is awesome and the amount of food you get in a plate is more than fair for the price.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and all the food I's great. I love the hibiscus soda drink they have at the bar. I'd ask for them to put more water in it because it can be really sweet. The Cuban sandwiches are delicious! I recently ordered the curry chicken sandwich and it was just as good too.

Fantastic food and great experience. The courtyard dining area has great music and shuffleboard while you wait or for after you eat. All the food and drinks were top notch.
