Bob's Downtown Restaurant

Great fish tacos! Also the owner greeted us which is always a plus! Huge menu and breakfast all day.

The food was good and more than enough to fill us up. Unfortunately, our first trip here didn't have much that set it aside from other places.

I was visiting from out of town and was looking for a good place to eat lunch that wasn't the typical burger joint. Reviews were good on Google so decided to try it. It was full inside so had to dine outside which wasn't bad but if you aren't used to the Alabama heat, you may want to consider that before going. The food was great and the prices are reasonable.

Good food, good vibes in the neighborhood restaurant. Could be described as a hole in the wall or a greasy spoon but really it's a few notches up from that. Homemade handmade cocktails and some of the best southern breakfast around- served all day. Definitely recommend if you want simply good southern food in a friendly low-key environment.

Great service! The food was good but most items were not hot and seemed to be missing something. Mac with a hint of cheese. Cold, hard hush puppies. Once will be enough.

Eggs done right. Scratch buttermilk biscuit. Bill E's bacon. Grits so good you wish you had a spoon. Nice folks at the counter. Best breakfast in town!

Excellent food for reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and on point! Highly recommend!

Everything was wonderful! We had the Hawaiian Burger and LA Dog with mimosas! Everything was amazing and we can't wait to go back in the morning for breakfast. The service was great and the owner, Toni, came out and told us all about the restaurant and made the experiment that much better! See you again soon!

Great food plus live music for Sunday brunch. Bob's never disappoints, it's a great place to people watch too.

Quaint, clean little diner in the heart of downtown Mobile. Great breakfast food and great coffee served all day. They also have some interesting burgers and hot dogs on the menu. I'll be back to try those. Service was efficient and to the point. (You may have to step up to the bar for a coffee refill while they're really busy.) We will definitely be back to "the corner of fat and happy."

Had a great blue plate special! So many awesome entrees to choose from! Excellent food & service. It was a slow day and heard the weekend brunch crowds were killing it in a great way. WTG!

Neat atmosphere. Basically a hole in the wall type place with indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Lunch special prices were good. I enjoyed the country fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn bread. Strawberry cake was delicious! Fried okra could've been more flavorful.

It was absolutely amazing the staff is very friendly and a food is delightful I really enjoyed myself it was my 1st time there.

First time to Bob's and my servers were very attentive! My wife and I got breakfast, I got the omolette with brie and spinach not sure the name, and she got the corned beef hash and eggs. Both were awesome! Will try again most definitely!
