Bobbie's Dairy Dip Downtown

Historic and delicious. If you're from the north this is the kind of soft serve place you remember as a kid. FYI a small is huge! Bobby's dairy dip is old school Nashville. I'm happy to support these older businesses. If you've never had a dipped cone this is the place to try one of their many flavors.

The black bean burger is one of the best veggie burgers I've had in Nashville. The milkshakes are good, but I've had several now and they are never the thickness I like--usually too thin.

Nostalgic. Old school. Quaint. Call it what you want, but make sure you call it delicious! Fresh food prepared after you order. Don't forget the fabulous shakes! Cool names for cool combinations.

The ice cream was good and also for a reasonable price. It was cool because it’s historical in a way, also it’s different than most stores now because you walk up to the window and order standing outside the window. The different flavors were nice especially since there were many special flavors.

A proper dairy barn in a town filled with trendy joints that come and go faster than a trip to the porcelain palace after hot chicken and double IPA. They are not any better than any other small town creamery, but that's a good thing. Affordable, delicious, and unpretentious.

It is hard to put into words how much I love Bobbie's. When I was a kid in the 80's living in Sylvan Park I loved going (often walking) to Bobbie's with my mom. Bobbie's was a staple of my childhood, and now that my mom has passed away, going to Bobbie's with her are memories I'll always cherish. The chocolate dipped vanilla ice cream cones are legit

Like how could you go wrong with this place? Reminds me of places I went to as a kid. Order a burger, fries AND a milkshake. Even though vanilla is boring their vanilla milkshake is out of this world good. Go, grab a table and enjoy some great food and nostalgia.

Bobbie's has been here longer than I can remember. Great burgers and fries. My kids love to go for the soft serve. They have covered outdoor seating with fans. There are chalkboard for the kiddos to draw on. It and Wendell Smiths are still holding their own!

The best ever! Walk back in time! Best tasting soft serve ice cream in town. Crowded walk up, not much parking but worth the trio to this 40+ year old West Nashville treasure. Home cooked food as well. I have been a regular since 1993, always great!
