Bob Evans

I ordered biscuits and gravy with a side order of home cooked fries, and a hamburger with a side of Cole slaw. I knew I wouldn't be able to finish it all, I just wanted a variety of southern cooking with a little bit of each to take home. We also bought 4 chocolate chip cookies, and a banana nut bread loaf to take home. Excellent food all around, highly recommend!!!

As most Bob Evans the food is pretty good. But the coffee is on the weak side. My biggest complaint was slow service. We sat at least 20 minutes between ordering and receiving our food. I would understand if the place was very busy which it didn't seem to be. We walked in around 9:05 and gave our order in around 9:12. I was already on my 3rd cup of coffee,even though it was weak, before our breakfast was served,which came at 9:35. All we had were eggs so nothing really to cook. I also had to wait for my toast to be served after my meal since it wasn't served at the same time. But overall the eating experience was good. Would go again if in the area.

We go to this location about every other week. The food is amazing and always hot and fresh. The majority of the time, we end up having Vanessa as our waitress. She is super fast, friendly, engaging, and always makes sure that her guests are okay and has everything they need. I have never had a bad experience here, even during prime time for breakfast.

I'm only giving a star on here because it's required to write a review. I used to love Bob Evan's. It was one of my favorite restaurants for years. The last four or five times I went into Bob Evan's, I've had to leave because no one will even greet you to take drink orders after a 15 (or longer) minute wait. I was a server for years. I understand that serving is not an ideal way to make money, but standing around at the hot case window while you complain about it and ignore your guests makes the chain look bad, not just the servers.Honestly if I ever pass by there again, I won't even think twice about it. Once or twice is one thing... but 5? I don't think so.

I rarely write a bad review but this particular Bob Evan's is horrible. The first night we stopped in, at the end of our meal we waited about 15 minutes for our server to return with our checks but he never returned. I asked another server if she had seen him and she said that he had left without telling anyone that he had a table still waiting. No big deal. I can let one bad experience slide. The very next night I didn't feel like going out with my travel companions so I walked from our hotel over to the bob Evan's again. I ordered my food. They gave me my bag and I walked back to my hotel room. I took out the food and it was the wrong order. I walked back over to the restaurant to tell them it was the wrong order. The girl that took my order 20 mins prior acted like she didn't know what I ordered. I also had the same manager on both occasions and she wasn't friendly whatsoever.

I work on the Yatch from time to time for extra funds. It's absolutely breathtaking to view the Tampa Bay and or Gulf waters from the Ship while in route.

Seriously one of the best hot chocolates ever. Way better than the coffee/donut chains.

Comfort food. Consistent, delicious comfort food. Its our go-to when we cant decide or agree. Its reasonable and those yeast rolls!!!
