Bluestone Lane

This is one of my regular breakfast spots in Washington DC. The avocado toast is honestly the best I ever had and it keeps me coming back for more! For drinks, I always get two and they are both phenomenal. Melbourne breakfast tea (sometimes the beet latte) and apple🍎 juice! It's also a very vegan friendly place with alternative milks also available. The light music in Bluestone is also really enjoyable as you'll occasionally hear Michael Jackson or the Beatles in the background. The only slight problem is the sunlight that comes through the glass on a sunny day. It hits the eye on a lot of the tables there and can get annoying at times but don't let that stop you from checking this place out! Highly recommend!

Great place inside the library. The vibe is very light with music and great servers. The decor is very mod which I love. Menu had a lot of great options, avocado toast was good.

I feel like the food fits a specific niche, but it was good. Coffee is very well done, and I will come back just for this. Friendly staff!

Amazing brunch spot. All the brunch classics. Very nicely done setup next to the West End Library. Food was really good. Lots of options and great coffee. Outdoor seating too

Have ate banana cakes and sandwiches. Banana pancake was really good-especially for the cream and i also love peakans. But sandwich was not worth the payments

Even though this says “cafe” it’s not the type of place where you can work on your laptop with a coffee. It’s a sit down restaurant where you are seated by a hostess. You’re looking for a sit down restaurant, it’s a great spot. But if you’re looking for a coffee house where you can work for an hour or two, you’ll need to look elsewhere.

Very nice cafe. I ordered cold milo and it was very yummy ( floating ice cream ) and my friend had coffe! She said it was very good coffee!

Avocado toast here is delicious! Great breakfast option for the couple of days I stayed nearby. I preferred the whole portion that was served with a nice thouch of olive oil (vs. the half portion on the board). You can also get this to-go and they are pretty quick to whip it together if you are in a rush.

This place is very authentic. It is very quiet, even though there were many people. Food is very nice, especially for those who miss European bread. All ingredients are fresh and the dishes are fool of flavor. The service was good, we didn’t spend a lot much time for waiting for anything. I put 4 stars from 5 because I don’t like my latte; it has burn flavor in my opinion.

We love this place. Fantastic healthy breakfast/brunch food and coffees. It is part of the library. Our baby had his first bambiccino there :) and then we walked to the library and enjoyed the children's section.

Atmosphere and Ambiance are neat and comfortable at Bluestone. The outside seating are is nice snd quite. The restaurant appears super clean. Servers are pleasant and knowledgeable. And most importantly the food is nicely presented, taste was great to a good price point. I can highly recommend the avocado toast!

Excellent ambiance, very hip. The interior design is fantastic, attached to a library. We had the classic Baked Eggs and breakfast bowl and both were tasty. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating.

The drinks were delicious and visually beautiful! The staff was so friendly to our little family and the facility was very clean. We loved the food and I was a little sad we were unable to return during our trip because we found it on our last day :(

Serving Australian style breakfast, including Aussie coffees and avo smash. Food was pretty good, smaller sized portions (similar to that of what you would get in Australia). Small seating area outside available which is pretty good on a warm day. Service was good but a little understaffed.
