Having never been to this coffee shop before, I would think twice before returning again. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the coffee was just okay. Being in a town with so many craftsman coffee roasters I would have to say this stays on the bottom of my list of recommendations. I would also recommend that the "young staff" although friendly enough, take a lesson in customer service! Memo, listen to the customer's request!

Best black coffee in town! The baristas are super friendly, and its a wonderful little mom and pop shop that has consistently good coffee. The house made almond milk is a dream and they have great bagels too. I come here as often as I can. Awesome spot!

The ambiance is cool at this place, down side there's not much room if you want to sit down to drink your coffee. They're very nice there and they have a really cool setup. I got a Tibetan coffee and it was good, a little too sweet for my liking, but I'm sure you can tell them to do less sugar. I recommend trying this place out if you're in downtown Bend!

Coffee took a while, which seemed to be due to being under staffed. Once it was ready, the coffee was more on the bitter side, which is fine if that’s your style, not mine. Space is poorly utilized. They compromise a comfortable seating experience for trying to look hip and trendy. No notable food or snack choices.

Fantastic little coffee shop nestled on the edge of hip downtown. Couches are warm and coffee is as bitter (and delicious) as my ex wife. The combination of a curiosity shop is a little odd, it restricts the space, but they have tables, comfortable armchairs, and couches. Coffee is made with flair and is reasonably priced for the area.

Great little shop downtown. Fast & convenient with a great food variety. House-made almond milk a big plus, one of the few places downtown to get the famed Sparrow Bakery "Ocean Roll". Shop has that combination gift/art shop + coffee shop feel, so bear that in mind. Only point to be aware of: there's a $7 minimum on CREDIT cards (so either go cash/debit or plan to get more than coffee). Free wifi for 6 hours makes it a good work spot when you're looking for a different spot in town.

This is my second time at Bluebird. I came here two years ago and had the MOST delicious huckleberry mocha. It was so good that I swore I would return when I came back to Bend. This time I tried the honey lavender latte on the seasonal menu, and it is also delicious (complete with bee pollen sprinkles). Twice here, and I have not been disappointed.

They have some interesting coffee based drinks (Tibetan, Cubano & Specials); however, regular coffee is not the best. The atmosphere is eclectic with a few spaces to lounge in comfy chairs and two long tables. A better place to have a coffee break with friends rather than a place to work.
