Great outdoor seating and superb service. Food varied from good to great. Borscht was the best I've ever had, and mushroom blintzes were also outstanding. Flatbread was not exceptional

Food was just ok. Wish they had pelmini. Crapes with caviar were great.

The place is small yet fits a lot of people. The food is excellent! The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. We celebrated our friend's wedding there and it was just amazing - food, dancing and karaoke on demand. I wish I had my own wedding there!

Great atmosphere, very good service

I was a bit disappointed by the place and the food. I expected a seafood restaurant but it was a mix of things- we ordered the deep fry branzino and it came with overcooked old mussels, dry rice and reheated veggies. Only the fish was freshly made and was OK. The service was sloppy- will not go back

We had a party of 9 and nowhere to go to lunch, decided to give this place a try. Food was yummy and even though we had two picky kids, two gluten free, and one keto diner, everyone was able to find something on the menu. Waitress was nice and the place was very cute. They do have blue salt in grinders on the tables :-). I’d go again!

Excellent food, good, fast service

We were first time in Blue Salt restaurant, Newton, MA last weekend and we had a great time! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food and reasonable prices. The Blue Salt is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. The food is delicious – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an unforgettable experience. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

Really nice local place. Food was delicious but took a while to come out. It's a fusion menu with some traditional options. We loved the salmon and the Brasilian seafood stew. The tomato burrata caprese and the fig and prosciutto flat bread make for great options to share while you wait for the main course. The staff was friendly and very busy. We would come back.

Amazing place.Delicious food,friendly atmosphere.Owner is making every night very special and memorable. Love this place,been here multiple times and definitely will come back many more times!!!Also,karaoke is great!!!!Thank you for such a great place!!!

My evening at Blue Salt Restaurant was pleasant to say the most.The service was satisfactory at best. The baked brie appetizer took particularly long to come out. However, it was most definitely scrumptious. For a main dish I ordered the chimichurri steak asking it to be prepared medium rare. Half the steak arrived medium-well while the other half was cooked to well done. It was dry but the chimichurri sauce and Patagonian potatoes played their part in reviving the dish. The asparagus had ends which were not edible. Nonetheless it wasn’t a bad experience; it was just underwhelming considering the atmosphere and the rest of the reviews of this place. I will return at some point in the future to see if there is any improvement or positive change.

I would probably go back because it's a cute place with super nice staff and very convenient. The blue margarita was great. The menu is interesting but all of our food was a bit too salty.
