Blue Iguana Bar and Grill

I came here on a saturday and spent roughly three hours at the bar. Its pretty easy to accomplish this with such a friendly staff. I'm pretty sure this is a family restaurant as the waitresses are sisters.That said: the food is good. Not huge portions, but plenty for the average human stomach to become filled.The spices are mild which is typical of a mexican-american establishment.The servers speak english of varying skills. This is always a highlight to me. I, personally, like language barriers when i go to restaurants of non-english culture. However, they have servers that speak fluent english if this is an issue.The atmospherics, staff, and cleanliness make this place stand out to me. The food exceeded my standards. The ceviche was sooo good!

Not traditional mexican food by any means. The cheese dip and salsa were not good and I believe they charge per basket of chips. The food was luke warm when it reached us and the water cups smelled odd.

We went here after our usual Friday night Mexican restaurant was more crowded than normal. We wanted to try something new and not wait. This restaurant was right down the street. The staff were super friendly but that is the extent of the positives. There was a total of about 4-3 groups (including us). We had a party of 4. The wait, even for drinks, was too long. We were ready to order before anyone even came to the table after being seated. When we finally got our food, some of it was cold. I had a the stuffed poblano. It tasted like it had been soaked in warm grease. It was cold and soggy. I would not suggest this restaurant.

Visiting family in Columbus and was hungry for Mexican food. This place was open late and the service was very friendly. Our waitress made very helpful suggestions and our food was delicious. We ate until we were very full. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

My waitress was drunk, so drunk that she over charged me, and the food was terrible. I'll never go back.

Great Barbacoa Don't understand what's actually is in the blue eGuana drink it could use a little more sweetener in the drink but definitely potent great place to have tacos and socialize.

We go to The Blue Iguana on a weekly basis, the food is fresh, from scratch, prepared at the time of your order. Not fast food but worth the time! Richard and his staff are great!

Nice place that not enough folks know about. Server made great suggestions and my guac was fresh and delicious.

Margaritas are delicious and huge! The lunch specials are perfectly priced with good portion sizes.

I’m only giving them a three because my burger was raw.. they didn’t say anything about replacing it when I called in.. but I have never ordered that before.. the other meal that was ordered.. I was told was great.. don’t let this three star stop you..

Can't believe this is my first time here. Timely service, good food. I came with my child so I didn't get to try their drinks but will definitely be coming back with friends. Surprisingly enjoyed my experience.

The chips and salsa were good, not sure if they were unlimited. I had the grilled chicken breast with rice/beans, not much seasoning on it if any but i needed low sodium anyway, tasted fine. Could've used some grilled onions/peppers for more heathier flavor. Food was good/fast, outdated old atmosphere. I would eat here again
