Absolutely outstanding. We went there yesterday and I’ve been thinking about it all day today. Like I’d drive the two hours back to GR just to eat here again. Amazing all around. Great service too. New favorite spot for sure!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Blue Dog Tavern. It was clean, not too loud. There are many unique menu items. I enjoyed the Cuban sandwich and my husband said his jambalaya was tasty. There are many beer options on tap. Two minor things to mention. The pizza roll appetizer is made with actual frozen pizza rolls (plus added ingredients.) They were good, but I’m mentioning this because I was surprised. I’d envisioned dough rolled with pepperoni, fried with the other ingredients placed on top. I had the home made chips that came with my sandwich and found them to taste over cooked and bland, I wish I’d upgraded to the tots or fries. Neither of these two things were that big of a deal, overall our experience was above average and we will eat here again.
