Bloom Bake Shop

A really lovely Cafe. Met up with a few friends for brunch. I had the "southern biscuit sandwich" and a peanut butter cookie. The sandwich was delicious. You could tell the quality of the ingredients. The fried ham was crispy and flavorful without being salty like some hams can be. The biscuit was super flaky and the pepper on top was just the right touch. The peanut butter cookie was soft chewy and had just the right amount of peanut flavor without overpowering the cookie. The service was warm and friendly. No wonder they were busy.

Someone brought in a box of sweets to our hospital from them. I worked in my parents bakery and so was brought up with fried doughnuts. Having not tried anything from them yet, I was pleased with the rich softness and depth of flavors of the doughnut. Baked is also delicious, filling, sweet and comfort food like. Thank you for sharing your kindness and sweetness as a bakeshop with the HCW's here in our VA hospital!

Awesome food. Nice atmosphere. Hours are weird though. It's frequently been closed when we've tried to visit. So always check the hours before wasting your time.
