To start not very friendly staff. Also, there is no option for a regular hotdogs that isn't the kid version. The staff will not sell you if you're older than 12 and will charge you double the price. There are people who are allergic to the tops on the classic hotdogs. There should be an option for classic hotdog (meat and bun) and loaded classic with their toppings. I don't want to have to explain this everything I order, especially at a new business, about my dietary restrictions. Also, their burgers are super thin, and the bun was soggy and flat. There is not much in the way of condiments even though the menu advises as such.

Saw it driving by and decided to give it a go. A few things make us think it may have some deep southern roots. First was the name, second is the Duke's mayonnaise (extra points), and the burgers - a single and a double Bless-Your-Heart - were cooked until dead & the buns were dark toasted. Despite being over cooked (IMHO) they were not dry as I feared they would be at first glance. The condiments were a nice addition to the overall flavor. Service was better than average, the place was clean, the staff was friendly and stopped by a couple of times to check on us. Have napkins handy. We would stop in again, might see if they could be talked into a medium grill. I give it 4.25 stars! Update: This visit was better in that the burger was crispy on the outside, like a smash burger should be, but not overdone on the inside (like the first visit). Change rating to 4.5 stars.

The staff waited on us as if we were the only people in the place. The burgers were tasty and it was a nice outing. I recommend ordering a double because the patties are smashed. I was fine but could've had a little more beef.

The first time met Jeanette the owner and she could not have been kinder...and each time I come back with more friends she is the same. And all the other employees have been the same. I come back because the burgers, fries and prices are some of the best lately. And happy hour is truly a treat. Give them a try...and now that the weather is warming I can sit outside with my puppy again.

Mixed bag here. The taste and quality of my double bacon cheese burger are excellent. However, I think there was about a half ounce of cheese between the 2 patties. Very little lettuce or sauce. The fries ate basic shoe string nothing special. The fry sauce was excellent. However, $1 for a small maybe 1.5 Oz of sauce seemed expensive. I find it interesting that they bring your did to you. But then make you bus your own table? Overall, the burger was pretty good,not great. I paid $26 and change for a burger, fries, sauce, and a beer. Value is low, friendliness is high. Probably will not go back soon.

Such a great addition to the neighborhood! At first I thought the prices were a little steep, but the quality of the food and the execution were excellent. The staff was also very friendly. Definitely my favorite smash burger I've tried in town, most end up being too salty for me (looking at you Goonburger). It's going to take a lot of willpower for me to not eat here weekly.

Ahhh, bless your heart! For my money, say no to the specialty brown mustard they put on all burgers. It's too tangy. Come to terms also with bun being cold. It's a mystery to me since the inside of bun is always delightfully toasted. Other than that, the burgers and fries are really quite good. I like the Double Classic.

Good smash style burgers. I have in n out where I'm from so finding a good burger place in vancouver was difficult. But these burgers are just as good! The chili fried are awesome as well.
