Love this pub. Small friendly traditional British pub. Low ceilings so if you are over 6 foot some of the beams are interesting. The pub has had a refit and a revised menu; feels more spacious but think it may have lost some a of its charm... Still a great pub. You can also pay by card now... No running to the ATM at Tesco.

Used to drink here a very long time ago and so glad to see the place is still a good old English pub with some great beers and wholesome atmosphere.

It's better now it has been refurbished but it's still under staff and now it does food, service is a lot slower.They do have nice beer however

Newly refurbished, new management, friendly staff, good food.------------------The pub has just recently undergone a 1 month refurbishment and is now a chain pub. It's brighter inside, and neater, with a much more modern interior.After some initial teething problems, it seems to have settled down, and is generally busy again. The new staff have settled in and the new landlord is friendly.Just enjoyed a very nice meal. Didn't wait long, good quality sausages and mash. Hot and tasty.
