I was in St. John's and wanted something different. This place checked that box for me. If you love friendly service and great food and beer this is the place for you. Also if you are just looking for some fly fishing gear or any other outdoor gear this place has you covered in spades. Thanks for a great lunch. I cant wait to visit the full restaurant in St. Augustine

Food was pretty good. Cool place and awesome service. Had the fish sandwich and a few beers. Want to go back and try the Cuban.

This place is fantastic. I stop by after work every couple of weeks and I'm never disappointed! The shrimp tacos are the best I've had and the burgers are amazing. The staff is extremely accommodating with anything you need, and are always so friendly and welcoming. Top notch. Great place. Highly recommended!

Black fly is AMAZING! Not only was the food delicious, hot, delivered fast, but our server very attentive friendly. Top it off, the Chef came out to ask our opinion of the service and food, appeared truly interested in our feedback. Chicken Mojo wss Devine, craft beer selection great + cold. Keep it up guys! Friendly place, friendly service, with simply good food. The restaurant is clean and definitely has a "get-away" vibe. Original artwork by the owner is lovely and helps to really anchor the bahamas/island atmosphere. Excellent burgers and I love the fish sandwich.

Have ate grits all over the southeast and always thought my Dear Departed Grandmoters could never be beat. Until I had them at the black fly fantastic shrimp and grits. Even had the feel of eating at my Grandmas. If you live in Jack and haven't ate there you are missing the bus Will be back down in Oct. Get there before I do

I had never heard of this place before but attended a pop-up dinner. Decor is total fish as it should be since it has that Abbaco Island kind of flair. The food some of it may not have been on the menu was just meh , nothing that would bring me back. The outstanding dishes conch fritters, conch chowder and a shrimp and grit dish. if I didn't go back for anything else I would definitely go back for these items.
