Blackbird Doughnuts

The old fashioned donuts are incredible! We love the chocolate old fashioned and the apple cider. Beware, we went at 10am on a Sunday and they only had 2 apple cider donuts remaining; get here early if you want a popular flavor. They offer multiple vegan options! Limited seating at this location.

The everything bagel donut was too tempting to resist. Delicious salty and sweet “sandwich donut” with sugary cream-cheese spread in between.

Disappointed in my last experience. Which is not like my normal experiences. Purchased a few donuts and JUST as we were walking out the cashier girl asked the other team member “if the donuts were still good/ okay to sell” after I JUST bought one. A little concerning? Why she needed reassurance and why I just bought one and had to hear that as if they were no longer “fresh” or something. Gross.

Flavor selection wasn't big, but it was unique. Wasn't a big fan of the flavor selection, but you might be. Donuts were ok in terms of taste, but very expensive, roughly double that of a dunks.

Phenomenal donuts! The everything bagel is so creative & unique - it's soft and delicious and has the perfect ratio of cream cheese to donut. Bonus that the filling does not spill over! Lemon matcha was a seasonal flavor and was also exceptional. Featured sharp lemon curd. The quality of both the donut and the fillings surpassed my expectations of what a donut could be. These are absolutely worth it!

Really good donuts

Blackbird Doughnuts is a classic doughnut shop experience. Inside you will find all of the classic doughnuts, plus maybe one or two interesting seasonal doughnuts. The coffee is what you would expect, or respectable quality with a modest selection that you would find at most other doughnut shops. Blackbird stops short of a five simply because I have been to many other doughnut shops which are pushing the envelope in one way or another and Blackbird just doesn't seem to fit that profile. I can name at least 5 off the top of my head who carry doughnuts that are either more interesting or better executed than Blackbird. It's not a mistake to come here, you'll be pleasantly satisfied with your doughnut and coffee experience. Just don't expect to be wowwed or inspired by what they have for sale here. They're doughnuts, they're coffee, they are what you'd expect.

Stay away if you're on the diet because they are so very hard to resist. (It's a compliment) I am going back there immediately after work. Again! This is not a doughnut place. it's a hidden revelation. I believe i just had two of the best doughnuts in my entire life. Almost like my mom used to make and there is no higher praise. Sweet, but not the cheap supermarket kind of sweet. This is quality you can taste immediately and if you have a hot beverage - it's the best experience.
